But in all honesty, nick nelson is one of the most important and underrepresented characters there is to any show ever, and Kit did such an incredible job of portraying the role and Alice is one of the most incredibly talented people ever to ever exist. They are my life and i love them.

Representation is so important, it helps queer youth feel less alienated and shows that we deserve a place in this world. I love this format, but I think if you were to put all these people into one room and they’d watch the scenes together, they would react a bit more and maybe discuss it which would feel more natural than them kind of talking to themselves like it is now.

Not quite true, open conversation, transparency and being brought up as innocent as possible to ENJOY the fleeting childhood we get. Rather than being told things to specifically confuse. People deserve to be whoever they want to be without discrimination, but it means you also need to integrate into society yourself, you're not in danger, you are fully capable of living your life to the fullest. Gender affirming care isnt required unless you truly believe you are living in the wrong body. Some form of dysphoria is experience by EVERY young person whilst they are growing up, its up to us as individuals and others around us to support and work through that but that doesnt come with immediately thinking you are in the wrong body so lets put you on meds and work towards a transition. Its far more complicated than that. Also if you do truly believe you are living in the wrong body the right regulations need to implemented around what can and cant be done until a certain age, its scientifically proven our brains do not fully mature until 25yrs old and we also spend our entire lives, growing, changing being different/better selves. There has to be careful steps taken to enure the irreversible damage isnt made before being truly certain. I know it sounds shit but life is special, and we cant take it for granted.

Representation in shows i've seen are honeslty amazing, It's a sin is a really good representaion of negative and positive coming out stories. For me i didn't really get to come out, but my brother did and I feel like the media is really growing and becoming more representative which is great to see as a young trans queer person

I remember before, when I was serving at my church, the pastor was so homophobic that I was so uncomfortable and offended by what he said. I’ll tell you guys, I was doing my devotions every day and spreading the word of ‘god’. That’s how I was devoted as a ‘disciple’. Now, I'm an atheist. Actually, we should not be forced to choose. But I guess some people want us to choose one or the other.
