How do people allow their kids to become that spoiled? If I bought my kid an expensive gift and they acted that ungrateful because it's the "wrong one" or whatever, from then on the only thing I'd be buying them is food. They'd have to get a job and buy themselves anything else they may want. And I'd be taking my unwanted gift back and keeping it for myself.

Children have a harder time regulating their emotions no doubt. But there is a difference between a child becoming upset when things go unexpectedly and pure disrespect and entitlement which is a direct reflection of poor parenting. Not a lot bothers me more than children without discipline and parents who act like they “have no idea why their kid acts the way they do”. Be a freaking parent maybe?!

For Example For my birthday this year I got 8 new shirts and I was fine with it, because some of my old shirts were worn out. Plus every gift I got I always have a smile when I believe is to be happy with what you got.

I dont think they understood the question. To imply being spoiled means that the parents or caregiver are spoiling them, hence they are spoiled on what level, not that the kids are at fault or not. They were ALL ridiculously spoiled, Shame on those parents because when they get into the real world, they have a serious rude awakening coming.

"This is on the parents." That doesn't make it rate lower... Spoiling is (almost) always on the parents. Probably because parents don't know how to punish a kid in appropriate ways if it doesn't listen or misbehaves in other ways. Giving them everything they want is not helping to get them to listen to you.

The last girl seems to be "educated" to be frustrated if she wasn't in the center or she hasn't won. That's really sad, for her too. The only spoiled kid "scene" I saw when I was younger was that girl sobbing in movie Babe when she didn't get the exact dollhouse "she wanted from the TV". I thought "wow why is she that upset about it" (even though it's just a movie).

this parents need to be a little ruder to this children and teach them to grateful for things, like literally stop buying them everything they want and only give them things in a specific time like a holiday or birthday but in the rest of the days nope. Like you know? teach them that not everything is easy to get or they’ll grow up thinking they can have anything they want and depending on their parents- that’s a big no no

Toddlers and Tiaras... That show and the pageant environment is what causes the kids to become very spoilt. Also its the parents. I'm not spoilt. Me and my twin sister we tried throwing a temper tantrum as toddlers.. My parents weren't having that. Me and my sister grew up knowing that we couldn't get everything we wanted. At the age of 13, me and my sister woke up the morning of our birthday not knowing what we wanted to do. My cousins on the other hand... That's a different story.
