Beating the water level and making it to the Turtle Van gave my friends and I such a sense of accomplishment as kids.

Oh man, that donation at the end about Brad Fuller. Ties into the charity, and here I am hearing about it a year late.

This man beat the game faster than my old commodore 64 would load it.

I love the music and sound effects of Konami during this era.

I love that the Turtles have a blimp. WAY TO NINJA, GUYS. And April tells you it's the final battle. Such great logic in these old platformers.

This would have blown my mind as a kid and it is blowing my mind right now

This game was my first experience with rage-quitting. @#%& that water lever, @#%& it forever.

I realized now that as a 9 year old i was able to make it to the LAST Level and never past the last space guys! Only had Nintendo Power back and my parents wouldnt pay for the subscription then so I didnt know i was soo close!! Awesome run Im so proud of 9 year old me! LOL!

I played this game as a kid when it first came out and I don't think I ever got past the water part near the beginning. It blows my mind seeing how many parts there are to this game.

Great run! This was the first game I got for my NES after the SMB/Duck Hunt double cart. I never beat it, but I got to the Technodrome at least.

Wow, had no idea about the half life power boost.

I remember this game, especially watching my older brother do better than me. It must have been 1990. Good times.

How can you finish this incredible, amazing extra hard game talking all the run? I couldn't concentrate on the game if I talk all the run. That was amazing, I have to admit. This is my favorite game of all time and I have beat it a lot of times. But always I have a hard time when I beat It, nothing for sure. For me the most difficult part is in the fake pizza of level 4, when you are going down, before the boss. Is to insane to speed run this so hard game, but few can do that, actually few can beat this game. I don't have a conclusion, I only said that very few people in the world could speed run this game, even if they train a lot. Congratulations.

This game was unplayably difficult for me as a kid. I was also pissed it wasn't the arcade version. Wound up trading it for Legacy of the Wizard, and I could never beat that one either.

Furthest I ever got in this game as a kid was to the technodrome. Such a tough game!

I remember Renting this game back in my home country as a kid and I owed so much money on this game that went and brought it back, payed for 2 days and never went back to video store.

I never knew why the chainsaw dude was so hard to kill sometimes, but easy at other times. Now I know about the attack boost @ half health.

I considered myself the NES Master of my hometown as a kid, but could never defeat this frustrating game. In fact watching this now brings back the hate feels.

Those damn spike walls in Stage 4 always unnerved me. They were definitely Raphael and Michelangelo rooms

Vistico93 - I practised getting through the first room (no spikes) and then if that’s not a tip then hold your breath and concentrate on the turtle movements & then you should survive it.

Vistico93 -No problem. I beat the game after watching some random video on KZread. It’s so strange that Shredder is so easy to defeat. Another tip is you can share the boomerangs amongst the Turtles. And there’s a place where you can easily stock up on boomerangs. The map that is dark with the helicopters and the spotlight

I did finish this game with Don, but i usually stuffed each turtle with a weapon.Leo with boomerang, mike star, Raph with three stars and Don with the lasser beam, and that took lots of time

I think this was the only NES game I had when I was little that I was never able to beat. This makes it look easy but for a casual player this game is brutal.

So I only made it halfway through when I was 7 years old. I can’t remember exactly where I got stuck but I remember my dad being worried because I was stressing out pretty bad. After that, I was opening my Nintendo for “research”. Don’t worry, I grew up fine.

i remmeber some bug there where it auto kills the enemies

So: Stronger Turtle Weapon Game Genie code Stronger attacks at half minus health And the "Select Scroll" glitch??? How much damage would those altogether do, and therefore how few hits would kill a boss???

IM ONE OF FEW WHO KNEW EXACTLY THE MENTAL FORTITUDE TO MAKE THOSE JUMPS UNDER PRESSURE LIKE AN Ai WOULD PROBABLY REQUIRE A MINIMUM OF 10,000 YEARS OF RESEARCH TO ACCOMPLISH THIS QUALITY OF A RUN. also side note the runner definitely needs to loosen up he was coming off a slight bit tense. we know mario 3 is *Played Out* asf was there nothing else? rather watch zelda 2 at least

Messed up that Ralph don’t get the attack boost at all. On here his weapon pretty much worthless. He come out better just punching and kicking. He should’ve had the high attack power period from full health or half.

The big reason why everyone hates Leo, he's a poor excuse for a leader. The big reason why everyone hates Raph, because he has a hot temper. Big reason why everyone loves Mikey, despite his naivety he doesn't take life seriously, and is always optimistic. Big reason why everyone loves Donnie, intelligence.

Never really liked the limited soundtrack. Gets stuck in your head, but not in a great way. This game was outdone by the TMNT2 and 3.

this game is horrible, it was one of the only that we never made it to the end at the time. Just because of one of the last jump before Schredder!
