This video came right on time. I’m 14 years old and about 85% of my school has been in a relationship, in a relationship, or has had their first kiss and I feel so left out knowing I’ve had none of these experiences. I’ve liked so many people and they end up not knowing, or leading me on then ending up with someone else to the point that I was tired of it. Then there’s this one guy I sorta like, he feels the same and recently asked me out. I still haven’t given him an answer being that I somewhat feel unworthy of his or anyone else’s love. I pushed relationships trying to get someone to feel the same and now someone does and I just don’t think that I’m ready. So your opinions really help me, thank you.

"Trust me, your soul mate isn't in your Science Class." Very wise words from Gabbie! At 30 years old [over a decade ago] I found my soul mate three-thousand miles away. We met through playing a video game together [Dark Souls!] People are too much in a rush to find The One, but in due time it can and will happen. Love the transition for the channel, I do love these lil Podcast-Lite episodes!

Haven't hear the whole thing, but I would like to say, as someone who never had a proper partner until I was 24, I can say that teenage relationship are kinda important. My whole teens I wasn't ask out, no one had an interest in me and that actually hurts a lot when you grow up and you're, let's say, 22 and the last time some one showed interest in you was when you were 14 and the relationship lasted a conversation; when I got my first bf I was a MESS, didn't know how to communicate. period. I didn't have many friends growing up due to bullying so I didn't learn socialization so I didn't know how to talk to someone on that deep level, specially a boy. A lot could have been avoided if I had friends or my parents talked to me about how relationships, romantic or platonic, should be from a broad but healthy perspective. The whole thing of "it's not gonna last" and "it's time consuming" is rocky territory for me, it's sooooo easy to just not bother to work inside a relationship bc of those phrases. yes, relationships can be "perfect" and over in like 20 seconds, and it does consume a lot of your time, but it's time that you wanna spend (should, in my opinion, if u truly want to be with that person) and no relationship has a warranty that it's going to last, not when you're in your 20s, 30s or when you've been married for 35 years, they can break, was it a "waste" of time? No, I don't think so. I mean, I don't talk to my ex anymore bc I realiced that we weren't compatible to begging with but because of the whole we kept dating, that's the mind set you should NOT have. Things can be over so quickly, it's weird but it doesn't mean it wasnt worth it. I learnt a lot in my first relationship -almost 2 years and a half- I don't regret it, maybe I shouldn't have gotten into that relationship in the first place, but it made me grow, realice who I was (or becoming, I'm only 26) and it was a cute time.

Know your core values and don’t even consider dating someone who doesn’t share them. You don’t need to date around to figure out you or what you “like” you know that already and if you don’t then figuring out you and not others is a great place to start. Honestly read the core values in Matthew, Ephesians, and Proverbs.

I don't think there's really a right or wrong answer. I think it depends on the individual. Overall it's difficult to navigate through and figure out your feelings and who you are when you're 13-18. Not to mention having to worry about all of the schoolwork and extra curricular activities. Some might be able to deal with all of that, some might not, others might not even try.

Ok stop. “High Value Woman”? Women aren’t products to be bought. They are people, just like men. Their value doesn’t change based on their decisions. “High Value Woman” is just such a terrible way to say that she’s smart. Same goes for men.

@@-charisma- A person's value absolutely changes because of their decisions. Lets just put it this way. If women were products, 99% of men wouldn't even be able to afford her. These conscious decisions she has made developed her character which in turn makes her a higher value. Which is a good thing! As of 2023, and for a long time now, when it comes to sex and relationships both men and women stay eating out of the trash. It's up to the individual to stop dumpster diving for love.

YES!! Great way saying. I’m a 30-year-old woman. I have never really acted like a girl. Well is “supposed”. I noticed that teenagers today are heavily influenced by social media. It makes up their personality, looks, relationships, etc… I feel like social media should have never become a thing. I’m only on KZread. I noticed that relationships don’t really matter much, only lust and what they call “bodies”. Friendships don’t matter. More like you have to look a certain way to fit in. Today I seen that appearances are more important than personalities in this generation. I mean it’s what human beings do, but everyone is different in mindsets. Kids younger than 10 are heavily impacted on social media. I mean I see young girls dressing ways… that I have never see before. Anyways, I won’t say much. No harm done. I’m just frustrated with how us human beings have evolved.

I’m 18 and I have been in a relationship with my first boyfriend when I was 15, it has been almost perfect and I am really happy. I do agree with everything you guys say and I think it is important to not focus too much on relationships. At the same time, I think it’s good to experience being in a relationship, experience the heartbreak and experience what it might be like when your older. It’s really up to the person, and sometimes you just find that person who clicks and your whole view on everything changes. When I was 15, I didn’t expect to ever have a relationship till I was in my 20s, but I found the person who made me happy and I made him happy and we thought we could give it a try.

there’s also the matter of sexuality which you’ve got to slowly explore as you get older, like do i like males? females? both? neither? and it’s often the case that asexuality is overlooked and belittled or whatever

I 100% relate with this video and I'm 15 and I always felt left out when it goes with dating and firsts kiss in highschool but not planning on dating in highschool or teens bc just want to focus on myself and give myself free time and i want to wait the best time.

Wow i really loved to listen to you discussing the topic. I do however want to respectfully disagree a bit. I get all your points but I think there might be a benefit of having some experiences in less serious relationships because if it is serious it might be seriously bad and if you had that experience in a less serious relationship you might be able to avoid another one. And i dont think it always keeps you from learning and growing your own personality. Learning how to be with another person might help a lot in later relationships. BUT i really like the point you made about the pressure from the outside of being in a relationship at a young age. I think it should be (more than) ok, not being in a Relationship at that age especially but also actually at every age. I just don't think its necessarily a bad idea to be dating at a young age. I really hope your doing more of this format, its really interesting to see. Kinda reminds me of my own family :)

Hey Bee Family, I really enjoy your recent podcasts, especially when you have Gabi and Roberto on them. Do you think you can make a podcast about the LGBTQ+ community? As i don’t see many families talking about it, and i would love to hear your opinions on it. Sending Love!

I 100% agree with the views expressed in this video. I wish I had someone to tell me this when I was in my teens (42 now). It would take a lot of pressure off. I would avoid major metal health issues in my life. Describing how much my slate is messed up is not a topic for a KZread comment.

I completely agree what Gabi says always focus on yourself! I had my first girlfriend freshman year and it started out good then sophomore she started smoking weed and probably doing drugs i don't know for sure and junior year she cheated on me and also that will tear you down my advice is don't date a person until you've known them for 5 years or more. I'm thankful i got rid of her and I'm very happy being single. most people think dating has to happen. I never have and never will use dating sites and I don't recommend any of y'all using them as well. I hate dating sites they are useless!
