it's weird though.... because scott was going to kill himself because he thought that derek's "death" was his fault derek could've proved him wrong and gone to check on scott and everyone else, and thats what he was going to do but jennifer stopped him????? i have a feeling she knew what was going on in the motel idkkkk

That could have been part of it, but I also think that Derek was too injured to do much of anything. He only just started healing in this scene when he and Jennifer kissed and made love. Derek was probably planning to go check on them as soon as he was healed and physically capable, but yes, got distracted by Jennifer, which may have been part of her plan, but also may have been because she genuinely had the hots for Derek. Derek also said earlier in the episode that his friends thought he was dead and he needed to go tell them he was alive, but Jennifer distracted him. He also propably couldn't have actually done it at that moment considering how injured he is. He also has no idea where Scott currently is. He could call him--if he still has his phone, which, maybe he doesn't considering he didn't call any of them for help. Derek also has no idea that Scott is trying to kill himself, which is partially because of his "death", but also because of a lot of other things, the main one being that he was poisoned with wolfsbane causing him to hallucinate. What I think is really weird is that Scott and Isaac and Boyd and Cora were all at this fight where Derek fell to his supposed death after Scott slashed Ennis's leg and overbalanced the two of them, but did none of them go down there to take his body or see if he was still alive. Sure the alphas were there, but later on, maybe? I mean, the alphas went down and got Ennis. So, why didn't Derek's pack go get him? They just left his body there to rot if they really thought he was dead. Only Cora, (and Peter, who wasn't present at the fight), went down there later, but by then Derek was gone, and it's seems the first person he found was Jennifer.

Tyler has looked Awesome over the last 2 seasons but this scene was Magnificent ! He looks SO RIPPED ! I will definitely view this over and over and over again.

Scott caused Derek to almost die. He slashed Ennis's leg, causing Derek to fall to what could have been his death. And then, Scott and the rest of the pack present at the fight, all didn't even go check to see if Derek was dead or alive. They didn't even listen for a heartbeat. They didn't go down to take his body if he was dead. They just left him to rot and went on a cross country trip. Derek, meanwhile, has no idea where they are. He said earlier this episode that he needs to find his friends. But remember, Derek is basically a giant open wound and can't do much of anything. He also doesn't seem to have his phone seeing as he couldn't call anyone he trusted for help. He had to stumble around until he eventually found Jennifer, who got him back to his house, where he passed out for a while and she was afraid he was dying. Derek has no idea that Scott has been poisoned with wolfsbane and therefore is trying to kill himself, not just because Derek is "dead". Jennifer also, as we've seen in this season, has powers that she got from virgin sacrifice. They seemed to be some kind of seductive powers, so how do we know that Derek here truly wants to be having sex with her rather than finding a way to contact his friends when she starts kissing him and therefore, could be taking his free will in the moment without him knowing it. And considering the number of times Scott has knowingly left Derek to die, you and Scott don't have a right to be pissed. Derek doesn't know what's going on with Scott. Whereas Scott thought it wasn't such a bad idea if Derek died from a wolfsbane bullet in 1x04, even if he knew by the time that Derek hadn't bitten him or killed anyone, Scott just bolted when the alpha whom he called dug his claws into Derek's back and had blood pour out of his mouth and then threw Derek under the bus, not knowing if he was dead or alive and being the one who argued that maybe he was alive to Stiles, by blaming him for all the murders in Beacon Hills, left Derek to fight the hunters so he could make an escape at the end of season 1, when he eventually found Derek captured by Kate, you know, after going to winter formal, dancing with Allison, and being revealed as a werewolf and decides he finally needs Derek, he tells Derek that he will only let him go if he promises to protect Allison, he hung up on Stiles when he and Derek were trapped in the pool and Derek was paralyzed, causing both of them to almost die before he finally got there and realized on his own what was happening, he forced a paralyzed Derek to bite Gerard who would then have killed him to become the alpha, (I don't care that Scott poisoned Gerard with mountain ash to prevent it from working, his plan might have failed, and even though it did work, he still used Derek's body without his consent, and let him believe in the moment that he was going to die moments later so Scott could protect his mom and Allison at Derek's expense), he allowed Allison to continue believing Derek killed her mother/bit her for no reason which is the reason Allison tried to kill Derek and his pack and she continued to hate him for an entire summer and then some until Scott was put on the spot and literally had no choice but to tell her, he allowed Derek to go in to fight Cora and Boyd alone believing that it would result in either Derek killing the two of them or them killing Derek, (who cares if Derek told him to let him go in alone. What true hero do you know who would actually let him?), and then he went behind Derek's back to meet with Deucalion, starting up the big fight where Derek almost died, because Scott ran at Ennis to fight him, Derek had to go help him, and then while Derek and Ennis were fighting CLOSE TO THE EDGE, Scott slashed Ennis's leg, causing him to overbalance and fall, taking Derek with him, and then didn't even bother to go get Derek's supposedly dead body. Scott has done all of that shit among other things to Derek, and you're pissed because Derek, who can hardly walk and is probably being seduced at least partially by Jennifer's power, and has no idea that right now Scott is trying to kill himself because Scott went on a cross country trip rather than get Derek's body despite how much he whined about his guilt these past couple episodes, and therefore, Derek doesn't know he needs to be stopping Scott from killing himself? Wow, Scott stans are pretty crazy.
