And to think he was sick while singing this and it was near the end of the show. Such an incredible vocalist, guitarist, and all around composer and producer. For a completely different vibe, try his quarantine performance of the song “Why.”

The original video is both a better song and a more interesting watch than the home recording. It's an extreme shame nobody watches the ACTUAL version of the song with his full range of vocals instead of his half-done covid livestream one. He even leaves out a part and SAYS he's doing it on the live recording. Yet nobody watches the original??

Devin is like the embodiment of relaxation. Not only hes relaxed while singing, he even told the crowd to pick a tempo when clapping cause they're off. Now, weird clapping happens all the time in concerts, but i never seen a singer tell their crowd 😁

I always chuckle when I see him nod to the other band member to really hone in & play that interlude tempo a bit more forcefully but parts of the audience just can't follow along! 😂😂😂 and then he says that.

Hi Aaliyah, I recall a reaction from Beth Roars frome some years ago. Reacting on Ralf Scheepers (who is also a vocal coach, himself), singing "The end is near" with Primal Fear. In this reaction, she quoted: "I wanna take lessons from this guy!" He watched that video, contacted her. And they had an interview. So: Devin Townend seems to be quite an approachable guy. Maybe just try and ask him? He recently posted some new songs, here on YT. Maybe just comment on one to say hi.

I love how people say that Devin's harsh vocals sounds healthy. It's super funny when you know that when he was practicing, he had to take breaks because he ruined his vocal cords so badly, that he was bleeding. So he took few days rest and train again until he couldn't sing again :D

I have a bit of a complain but before that I wanna state that I enjoyed your video and liked what you added to it :) So that being said I'm sure your intentions are good but honestly you really don't have to constantly check the camera like that when the video is actually playing, it really looks fake imo When you talk to us of course you can watch the lense but honestly when the performer is doing his thing and instead of watching him you watch your "audience" (aka the lense of your camera) it looks pretty fake and disingenuous
