Maci has always been so respectful and so level headed even at a young age she was more mature at 16 that I am at 34. She has always put Bentley first. I adore her and Chelsea my 2 favorites

The problem with Jen, Larry, and Ryan is that they don't think Bentley is capable of thinking or making decisions for himself. Bentley is a very bright kid who has eyes and ears and can see the kind of person his donor (Ryan) is. And as for Jen and Larry, if they are not careful they will lose Bentley for good, because his mother has been the ONLY consistent person in his life and then Taylor came into the picture who has been MORE of a dad to him than Ryan ever has. So, speaking badly about his mom in any way is not the way to go...period. The fact that he probably has seen and heard the things They have said about Maci and Taylor is probably why he don't want much to do with any of them. Jen, Larry, or Ryan obviously don't put Bentley first, or they would do their damnedest to all get along with Maci for his sake. As far as Ryan's wife...if she's not careful she will be on the receiving end of Ryan like Maci, then maybe she will understand what Maci has had to put up with this whole time with Ryan....always being a couple of hours kind of "dad".. .then pass him over to the grandparents because he has friends to hangout with or a party to go to, every damn weekend. Just in my opinion, I don't think Larry or Jen did a very good job with teaching their son how to be a man and take care of his responsibilities. I noticed a change with Jen and Larry, who used to get along with Maci and Taylor very well I might add....when Ryan screamed at them in his kitchen about always sticking up for Maci, and how come they never stick up for him....then all of a sudden Maci and Taylor are the devil and "keeping" Bentley away from them, which really shocked me that Larry would say such things about her when she was the one that has always taken care of their grandson very well, and kept him safe. Can't really say that about Ryan considering he could have killed their future daughter in-law and unborn grandchild when he almost passed out at the wheel because he was so high.

Its awful how everything is blamed on maci by the whole edwards side. They don't blame Ryan for being a drug addict and absent father. Nope its all maci manipulating Bentley. Ryan still looks high in ever scene he's in or he's fried his brain. Bentley is old enough to decide of he wants Ryan in his life or not.

I love maci shes a great mom ryan and his parents are messed up with how they act and the shit they say about maci on tv saying how she brainwashes bently when she always wants bently to be involved and apart of there lives but she leaves it up to bently what he feels comfortable with cause ryan hasnt been there for bently at all his whole life nor does he try too now and his parents just always take ryans side no matter what. Maci is doing an amazing job and her husband she couldnt have picked a better man to have a family with they have a good relationship and are both amazing parents very involved with there childrens lives.

Taylor is Bentley's dad, PERIOD. Ryan is a part time dad, he treats Bentley as a nephew not as his own Son. As for Ryan his wife (Mackenize) and his parents (Larry and Jen) enable him (Ryan). My own opinion is that Ryan will be doing drugs again, no question about it.

I feel like maci is a friend I’ve grown up with!! It’s so crazy Bentley is going to be 13!!

Maci is my favourite teen mom by far. Ryan has always been a deadbeat father. His wife and his parents just excuse his behaviour. It’s sad that Bentley is used to his dad being a deadbeat father. But at least he has Taylor, who’ll be a better father to Bentley than Ryan ever will be.

I feel bad for Bentley and all of the MTV kids that have their whole lives played out on TV and constantly having to have their private relationships drug out into the public and having all of these opinions circulating around them. I was a teen mom, and was raised by a teen mom and I am so grateful my personal life was kept private. I went through a lot and I can’t imagine having to go through it in front of millions of people… all for money and a little fame??? It’s not worth it. You can’t put a price on privacy.

I agree. Filming their pregnancy and high school life/relationship is one thing but to continue filming their children growing up and the drama is wrong. Everyone knows their problems and everything else. They can’t consent to being on TV yet either. Their small children. I was also a teen mom!

their parents should be ashamed. They applaud Maci and Chelsea cause they are the more "level headed ones" but they still subject the kids to this. Pretty sure you can't sign a contract agreeing for your childhood to be filmed for the world to see in the WOMB. these kids have been filmed since BIRTH. I have seen Gary try to talk to Leah about her sex ed class and when she said she was embarrassed and didn't want to talk about that he kept doing and made sexual jokes about her mother. Thats just one example, its all messed up, these are basically Truman kids...

Maci can provide Bentley a happy family consistent life, and he does not need to be a second thought when the cameras aren't rolling. I have an addict neighbour, and I have seen her grown son with his child trying to connect with her, (there are tears in his eyes) when a minute passes she is no longer interested in him or her GC. Leave toxic people behind.

Maci is such a good mum. She is one of the only mums that makes sure the kids have structure and discipline. She makes sure they have chores and keep up with their school work which will help them develop into well rounded individuals. Some of the other kids are really acting up and discipline , boundaries and structure are lacking. The kids are often privy to adult discussions. This puts unnecessary stress on them. If I kid is misbehaving you shouldn’t laugh & encourage it which a lot of the mums do. It’s like they can’t be bothered to put the hard work in. Most of them are poor examples of parents. There are some exceptions but Maci leads the way. Ryan & his parents try to dis her but they have no real reason why. Ryan is & always has been totally enabled by those around him. He is useless and that’s not Macis fault. She’s been more than accommodating

I've have been watching her and Bailey Journey since day one she always been a great person a good mother in a responsible young girl so I feel like what's playing out now Bentley Daddy is going all show at the end of the day so why his parents over there trying to make it seem like she's being an animal or towards them the world have seen it all and I feel like she's an honest woman where she's not going to be up there lying on her child love her congratulations and every and anything that you do

Super late, you might know already lol buuut.. They were supposed to go together as father and son but the therapist said after her first meeting with Bentley that she believed he was not ready for it and needed one on one before doing it between the two of them.

I miss seeing Maci & Ryan's parents on good terms. It was such an uplifting part of the show. His parents seem like such great people that have been caught in the middle of this mess. They love Ryan, they love Bentley and I know that deep down they love Maci. I would love to see the 3 of them sit down sometime so that whatever apologies and reconciliations need to take place can happen. Life is too short to have these divisions that cause so much damage to multiple families. I also think it would make Bentley so happy to have Maci reconcile with them.

Travis Johnson ryan doesnt deserve any apology from maci or Taylor hes the 1 who should be apologising to bennie for not being a proper father in his life period also should apologise to maci for saying things that were not true he should be thanking Taylor for stepping in helping to look after his son for Taylor being there for his son seeing as Ryan cannot be bothered to do it himself that's what the heck Ryan should be doing. As for his parents they should also apologise to maci for their son being a deadbeat father for not kicking their sons ass into gear period. I do agree however it is Ryan and the lack of putting their foot up his butt that has caused all of this mess. Bentley knows what they are saying about his mom thats probably why he doesn't want to be around them. Jen and Larry used to like Maci and Taylor even had dinner and drinks a few times when Ryan was in rehab. But because they thought highly of Maci and Taylor and the good job they were doing with Bentley, it pissed Ryan off and he threw a fit even to the point of screaming at his parents in his kitchen about always sticking up for her and never sticking up for him because he is their son. He made them so uncomfortable that they actually left....then the next season or so their talking crap about Maci and Taylor and accusing them of put things in Bentleys head and keeping him from them all. Bentley is a bright kid that can see and understands what's going on around him, I know I did at his age...and they don't give him enough credit that he probably is making these decisions himself based on what he has seen from Ryan his whole life and knows that he can't just see Jen and Larry either because they will call Ryan or if they keep it from Ryan and he finds out that they have been seeing Bentley behind his back, because Bentley don't want to see Ryan, then he won't have anything to do with them. They are stuck in the middle for sure however, they are shooting their self in the foot for talking badly about his mom and Taylor.

Couldn't agree more. I used to have so much respect for Maci how she handled it because it's how I handle my kids father and I know how hard it is to always have to be the bigger person and console a child through bad parenting from the other parent. But she stopped after getting with Taylor for some reason which makes me feel he isn't as great as everyone makes him out to be, but then again I haven't watched the show in years

They definitely work as they run a really successful business. But I agree with all the rest, these girls should’ve been switched out a long time ago. They are no longer teen moms, and the show hasn’t portrayed what it’s really like as a teen parent in a long time, since everyone on it is making bank.

I come from A well off family - but me and my children live in government housing. She was 16 while pregnant , and left home young , so I doubt any of her parents money became her money.

I’ve always liked Maci. But I have to wonder how she is a public speaker when she’s so monotone and flat when she speaks.

This has been talked about so damn much it's sickening. This entire interview is just a review of what we already know. It's been her storyline on the show for years. I'm over it and it's extremely boring. We get it, Ryan's, a crackhead and he's a horrible father, can we move on already?!

What r u talking about??? He's allowed to go there whenever he wants but he doesn't feel comfortable around Ryan and esp people bashing his mother and Taylor. Bentley is barely on the episodes and they are done after this. When u are in a contract I have to finish it out .

You've literally made a career dragging your sons dad through the mud, he is a douce no doubt, but ur disgusting because Bentley will forever have to see his dead beat dad on TV forever. You should have stepped away along time ago. I actually feel so bad for Bentley, jace, Aubrey. I hope the MTV kids sue their parents and MTV in years to come, at least Chelsea got some class and stepped away and for few years now kept Adam out of her storyline, and ultimately left the show.

Ryan’s parents are in a tough spot and Maci knows they love Bentley and he loves them. They are not perfect!! Maci is the one that need to go to therapy with Ryan and get Taylor out her ear.
