I met my first love at 14 years old and he was my first everything in this life. My first and only experience to love really. We were together for 7 years and he passed away this year to suicide. I play this song and weep often thinking of the first time we saw eachother and just knew we’d be forever, the first time we talked, hung out, kissed, made love and he just loved me through our time growing up together and took good care of me over the years. I play this song and think of all the times I’d talk to god about him and just be so grateful for him. The times I let God know I was set for life with him. I think of the times I’d cry for him, with him, and always pray the best for him. He’s at rest now and I still pray for him. I cry everyday for him. And I still tell God I’m set for life with him. Your story is exactly as mine.. met when I was 14 and we dated 7 years. Broke up but remained friends and after two years he took his own life..I was devastated!!! The difference for me thou is that this song represents possibilities.. my 1st time with someone else a future partner maybe 🥰

After giving my life to Christ @40 and abstinent from sex 2yrs I saw my husband on FB in 2018 and knew he was mine. We officially met Christmas 2018. After spending a few days together we knew we would be together. A few months later in March 2019 We relocated to Virginia Beach from Arkansas.I come from TRAUMA, PAIN AND EXHAUSTION! It really does. This reminds me of myself and my husband, it defines our life together, and I think of him often. Sadly after 28 and a half years he died from a heart attack only 3 days after our baby girl (21) was shoot and killed by a stray bullet while attending the Brown Sugar Festival in Clewiston Florida on May 1, 2021. Not a day goes by that I don't think of them. I truly miss them both dearly and this song reminds me of them both. Sorry for your loss. 💔💔😭😭

My woman dances to this with our son in her hands, he’s her first born, he falls asleep in her arms listening to this, at first I didn’t like this song but find myself singing it when I’m alone, it’s magical and very emotional, we’ve all been through a lot and I bet it makes us look back and be proud of ourselves and where we are today!

I finally met my Mr right and when I say I know this man is my husband because When I say I cried and prayed for a man like him and I honestly didn’t think he existed at all… but when God removed me from my toxic past and begin to clean me up and I finally being to see clearly and was able to see God allowed me and him to cross paths I ran because I was like he is too real and too good to be true but God kept making to where we crossed paths and I am so happy and today he called and spoke some things to me it made my heart smile and I cried and then as I’m driving this song comes on and it’s my first time hearing it and yes this is hit home for me

When I heard this song I thought “ if I ever feel like a this about a man then I’ll I know he is the one”…someone I prayed for , someone I cried for in a healthy way…

This past months I fallen in love with someone who didn't love me to full potential and I learn that if you keep on running after love and the person doesn't feel the same you need to sit back and use all your energy on yourself take some time just for you and if that person love he /she will come back but not then it wasn't meant to be

As I'm here listening, I caught a glimpse of my future self. I saw myself finally in a happy place, I saw that I had a kid or two, I saw that everything I'm scared to dream about happened for me. I saw that God heard my innermost cries and didn't wait till I said them out loud. Because I just feel like I don't deserve some things, like it's too good for me, or more like I've never been a lucky person. I'm never optimistic, I hate disappointments and so I never have faith or hope or expectations. I've been taught to start having faith (but still don't), so this song took me where I have never been. I've always listened to the song, but this morning between 5 and 6 AM on July 21 2022, it was like the first time I heard the song on this particular listen where I just started crying deep deep tears while closing my eyes and visualizing all I talked about. It seemed so real like my future self saying it'll actually be well, look at you. There's only a journey between now and then, but right now I feel energized and optimistic and enthusiastic for the future. I hope to come back to this song someday and see that it wasn't just a dream. Thanks to God, the author and finisher of our faith.
