With this song playing, i imagine what if Eggman made StarLight Zone a place for good things, or mainly a shopping mall of sorts xD But yes it sounds a lot like Wii Sports hehe

I come back to this after a while of not listening to it and I get reminded of why I love Tee Lopes, and why his excellent score on Sonic Mania, and his big backlog of fantastic remixes really brought me to try music for myself. I never, ever, thought I would get anywhere in life, or find a hobby I feel confident or happy with, but here I am trying to learn and pursue music all because one man made an inspiring and fantastic set of music that never disappoints. Thanks Tee, your music, whether it may be remixes or original compositions, really means a lot to me. I absolutely hope to see you do more in the future because the backlog you have right now (TMNT Shredders Revenge, Sonic Mania, Major Magnet) is super strong and absolutely superb.

@RoundPinkKirby lol its true, I don't play any instruments, nor do I know any musical theory (couldn't afford the classes). I've been composing since 2000 with music 2000 for psx, that's why I'm so used to the piano roll without MIDI instruments. It doesn't take me as long as you'd imagine (3 to 5 hours per song). Flash studio is very easy once you understand the concept... I'm still discovering new functions! Also I'm involved in sonic 2 hd. I'll be remaking the games tracks, so stay tuned!

This is the sound of the 90s condensed into an essence that encompasses everything about the 90s, games, movies, culture, and music, and serves it to you on an orchestral platter with no warning, hitting you with a wave of nostalgia and bittersweet mental images of a past we can never return to... Not very many songs can claim to have brought me to tears, but this one did it well... and I wasn't even around in the 90s

I'm imagining a reimagined Starlight Zone in a future Sonic Mania game, but with this music in a sky-chase like act over a nighttime city scene with twinkling city lights down below and fireworks in the sky all around Sonic and Tails as they fly through the air over the town. Maybe have them avoiding fireworks which explode with eggman face-shaped booms and stuff.
