I have a Australian Shepherd mix who was rescued/with over 100 siblings from a hoarder. She was fostered by a lady who has 3 dogs, and runs a dog-daycare. This lady swears that the hoarded dog watched her dogs and became VERY curious that they interacted so much with her. A few days of watching, decompressing...a few treats tossed to her, and the transformation began. This girl now (2.5 years later) demands belly rubs, plays, goes on car rides, goes in pet-friendly stores like she owns them, dog parks etc. At over 5 years old, she started learning how to be a real dog. Now she just owns me, totally.

When an animal knows they are safe and loved, anything is possible for them. I just adopted my rescue kitten, he was two months old when I started fostering him. He's seven months old now and he's HUGE. His paws just get bigger and bigger and he's getting longer and longer and taller and ALL MUSCLE. He's the sweetest boy and I love him so much and couldn't give him up. He's all mine now.
