There has been nothing in Loma's last couple of fights that would suggest he is slowing down. He might be getting older but he doesn't appear to be in decline.

The problem for Lomachenko is the size difference. He is facing guys with good boxing skills but the major hurdle is dealing with guys much bigger than him. If Loma was a natural LW nobody beats him at that weight class.

He spent too much time as an amateur that was his main problem, his prime was short lived because of that, and although it was unfortunate that still his fault! We as boxing fans don’t give a shit about amateur career because we don’t get to witness most of it! And I can assure you I know more about boxing than you do! You should never assume someone doesn’t know much about boxing because their opinion doesn’t match yours! Loma was never special in my opinion based on what I liked and wanted to see! And if you’re referring to him becoming a champion after only 3 fights that’s not special seeing as though he had like 300 plus amateur fight, one could actually expect that! Not special anyone having that many amateur fight should come into the professional ranks as a seasoned/good fighter! He has an awesome amateur record but a so so professional record and that’s fact since you wanna use the word fact!

this is a new era, 36 isn’t as old it used to be, he’s got at least two more years before his age starts to show.

Teddy I respect your input but you have to remember lomachenko is a healthy 36 he really don't have any serious injuries in his career. Loma has great body work and he can knock kambosos out for sure

I agree with the first comment, but AI judging would be terrible. AI or no computer could appropriately judge damage, flow, of the fight. It would just be number based which at this point that’s amateur scorecard judging.

That wasn't the point he was making. You are mixing corruption with human nature where judges may look at home town fighter punches more favourably because of crowd reactions when they yell and scream , such as thinking a shot lands when it didn't. Happens in all countries

Ted if you watch every second of every round of lomachenko versus Haney in your objective lomachenko won that fight and was robbed it was a close fight but it was a clear win and he was robbed of that victory

LOL still haven't got over Horn's great win over your hero, the judges were foreigners you know.

There's no one in boxing I respect more than Loma. He could've easily went down to Perth a couple of years ago and made HIS dreams come true to become undisputed at 135. But he stayed and stood for his motherland/homeland. Being a USMC vet myself, that made me respect him more than I already did. Kambosos is a good fighter. However he caught Lopez on one of his bad nights, in turn the samething in regards to Lopez catching Loma on a bad night. I still blame Loma for not postponing that Lopez fight. Knowing he had a torn rotator cuff. He underestimated Lopez. Idk what he was thinking. But anyway, here's to you #LOMA One of the best to ever lace those gloves up. To bad we all have to get old. But I think Loma easily has a couple more years of high level fighting in him. Speaking of getting older, I'm about to put a BOLO or Silver Alert out for GGG.

Good realistic discussion from Teddy here. I still think Loma is a class act, but no way he has the same activity now as he did a few years ago. I think he pulled out all the stops and gave everything he had against Haney, and I thought he was the clear and rightful winner there, but that was for undisputed and he isn't getting any younger. At home for Kambosas at this stage in Loma's career I think a wrong but home decision for Kambosas is possible and with those odds if I was a betting man that's where I'd put my money, controversial home decision Kambosas with most people feeling Loma the rightful winner. Hope I'm wrong and Loma puts on a masterclass throughout that it makes that impossible, I don't want to think Loma is on the decline as he's an absolute joy to watch.

Loma defeated Jermain Ortiz who is a much more skilled fighter and harder puncher than Kambosos. For a few of the rounds Ortiz made Loma look ordinary until Loma awakened from his knap and took control of that fight. Expect this to be an easier fight for Loma than Ortiz was.

Imagine all the casuals who only watch a 3 minute HL video having a meltdown because of Teddy describing Duran perfectly ;-)

@@andrewmckay5103 Vasily Lomachenko is getting on in years also a natural smaller man but is levels above Cambosis in experience and talent. 400 amateur bouts 1 loss which was avenged, 2 gold medals in 2 weights classes. It's boxing though and sometimes the unexpected can happen.

All the people I know who spend their wages gambling and losing put these sorts of bets on for the most part and they are always at a loss. I’d bet £50-100 a week but it wouldn’t be on a single bet unless in my head it was a surety. That’s why I said a ‘small punt of 50-100’ is not small in my mind for 1 bet that at the time and on reflection was a minuscule chance of happening. I did however have a £10 bet on Loma to stop George so I ended up winning a very small amount in the end 🤷🏻‍♂️
