Hate is such an overused word. Atlas did not “hate” Manny. He used conventional wisdom that a young good fighter should beat an old good fighter. Atlas did say in his podcast that if the Thurman who should up who was the same guy who fight Lopez, Pacquiao would win. I agreed with that. Hats off to Manny. He is a special fighter indeed. And Atlas said the same thing.

How to win a bet? Pick the opposite choice of Teddy Atlas! haha

Answer is simple...why do you think Thurman was the underdog BEFORE the fight? Thurman fought once in 28months...not due to contract disputes but from injuries and surgeries...that matters! Pacquiao ONLY fights top fighters who are either old or vulnerable...facts: DelaHoya was twice retired and forced down to a weight class from 10 years prior (Mayweather beat him first). Pacquiao only fought Hatton after Mayweather KO’d first, Cotto after Margarito TKO’d first, Margarito after Mosley KO’d first, Mosley at age 39 after Mayweather schooled first, ran from Mayweather for 5 years until he was 38 years old and still lost, fought Marquez 4 times without clearly beating him while Marquez at age 38 put him to sleep...are you guys all blind to Pacquiao’s match making??? Overrated, good, but overrated!
