It's a very famous book in Ethiopia, everybody has read it. The story is about a love triangle between an Ethiopian girl in the Royal family who's in love with a poor boy who's studying to become a priest. Her name is Seble and his Bezabih. Ladifatou Kapourr he is singing a story which was on fiction book which wrote by great writer long time ago the name of the book is love up to death (grave) so the story was about 2 young people her name was Sebile his name was Bezabih then Since from rich family Bezabih become her teacher while he start to live in their house then while he become a teacher for her he love her at the same time her family wents to marry another rich and old man that she dose not love so when they get ready to give her by priparing the weading ceremony she get lost some where since she get connected by love with the young man (Bezabih) any way this was just the starting point of this song

Aseline KerRo I'm Ethiopian and I have been to Port of Spain and Maracas Bay few times on vacation. While I was in Trinidad I met a number of Ethiopians who live there and some of them have lived there for 30+ years and their accent is very much like Trini :D I'm guessing you attend Sunday mass at the Holy Trinity Ethiopian Orthodox Church? is that how you come to know Mezmur? Coz there is at least 3 or 4 Ethiopian Orthodox Church in Trinidad and majority of the congregation are Trini's and some even have learned how to read and speak Amharic since the church service is conducted in Amharic and Geeze. Much love to Trini people! Trini to the Bone!!

Eritriance are Ethiopian too until Evil Shabia and Woyane bring this stupid divisions that didn't bring a benefit to both people One will take your love to your country Ethiopia. Do mot let Shabia to limit you.. it is always outside intervention creat to African problems. The new generation should look back our history what made Ethiopia and Eritria to be separated? If there is love between the people, we can reunited like east and west Germany. They become one after 65 years of separation.

I know my brother. I really wish Ethiopia and Eritrea can be together again. We will have peace. It is because of hatred that we have this separation. I’m Eritrean but I really see Ethiopians as my brothers and sisters and I think they are nice, cute, and sweet.

When he first released his album, this song was just so good and different than any Ethiopian song. It not only tells the beautiful story of love between two people, it makes you fall in love with the culture. When he released his video, I just want to go back to Ethiopia and live in the urban. In my opinion, " Mar eske Tuwaf " is the best song and the best music video of all time.
