God is glorified through Tedashii's and the whole 116 crew's music whether or not they say Jesus a minimum of 5 times per song or have a famous pastor open their song with a mini sermon. This is great music that will bless many people regardless of their religious or moral views and no doubt T-dot reflects all that glory back to God. Frankly, I like it when artists who often focus on Christian themes and messages in their songs make the occasional songs that don't directly relate to religion, it makes it easier to share in an overly offended and politely correct world.

Braeden, no one doubts that this song can't bless or uplift someone, but I"m also a bit surprised at the backhanded insults towards rappers that do mention Jesus "5 times per song" or they have a pastor's sermon clip in the background. As a believer in Christ, I don't have problems a rapper proclaiming the name above all names (Philippians 2:9) or sharing Biblical truth. And yes, if a Christian doesn't focus on Christian themes and messages, of course people won't be offended because of political correction, but sometimes they need to hear about the King of Kings and Lord of Lords directly because by His grace and love will they be saved (John 3:16, Ephesians 2:8-9). And only by not being ashamed of the gospel (Romans 1:16) and being sent to give that message (Romans 10:14-17) will someone repent and believe. The only reason this message offends them is because Jesus said the unsaved world hates Him, God the Father, and Christians (John 15:18-23). We want to be careful about watering down too much our Christian faith so the sinner can be comfortable with us and their own sin because it is a life and death thing eternally beyond just songs. Don't misunderstand, I hear what you're saying, believers shouldn't jump all over the 116 crew for making songs that don't directly mention Christ and are feel-good. But when these 116 guys also criticize the church (and some have) or get critical because certain believers question their shift from "not ashamed of the gospel" to "don't label me a Christian rapper because the title puts me in a box," then that needs to be put in check as well. Just like the body of Christ shouldn't always question them, be careful about questioning others in the faith that may be more evangelistic in their music or want to be discerning about what's being put out there.

I just noticed that I've been listening to this song for a couple yrs and I never hit the like button! When I realized that I had to change it, bc this song has helped me fight depression and all manners of negativity!(You just don't know) I'm so thankful for this song, it helped me stay above water when I thought I was going to drown, when I felt like life was too hard, this song encouraged me to keep going. ❤️ Thank you Jesus for a healthy mind.
