I am 😭. This is my first Mother’s Day without my Queen Mama! Yet, in the midst of my sorrow, I know Jesus is the Comforter. Matthew 5:4 Jesus, thank you for giving me a mother who showed me who you are by the way she lived her life! She knew that love is a verb and not just a noun. I never liked this song until I heard this version. The way that they perform this makes the lyrics just speak to you!

Gen z here. I come to this song when I’m struggling mentally, or if I just have a lot on my chest. It helps.

Sang this in the choir in the 50’s. Never realized how powerful the message it is until recently (2022). There is NO sorrow on this earth (physical or relational) that God cannot heal, if we will just believe His promises. There are over 7,000 promises in the Word of God. Which ones will we believe?

Beautiful, there is so sorrow, or trouble that God can’t get us through. The pain of death He’s our comforter. The Healer of all our diseases. No hurt He can’t heal. What an awesome God we serve🫶🏽🙌🏽

Beautiful rendition of the song.

It is a song that is/was sung at funerals and disasters! It is a song that our parents sung a lot when they were in disparity. It is not sung as much by this generation as it was in our past! As much as it sounds sad, it actually is an encouraging song to succor your heart!

I was looking for Seventh-day Adventist hymns with themes of elements of the sanctuary. I am glad I stumbled upon this version. Each artist is a true virtuoso of his craft. Kudos to the musicians and vocalists.

This is just ok. The music sounds better than them. Donny and Roberta did it the best!
