Look for moisture or debris inside the USB-C port and cable. Do not put anything into them. If the port or charging cable is wet, turn off your phone. Then set it on a flat surface to dry at room temperature. Check that the cable is securely connected to the adapter and to your phone. Check that there's nothing in the port of your phone, like dust or lint. Try to charge your phone with another cable or power adapter.
