usually processors don't get slow its the storage system that can get slow. When buying phone check whether it has UFS storage ir not. If the device has emmc storage then don't buy.

You can settle for an average not so good camera, an average display but if it's snapdragon one things for sure the battery will be consumed less (optimized better) , performance better, smooth camera clicks, no or lesser internet latency, lesser gaming lag, better ram and rom optimization etc etc

Any other chipsets available in the market cost less, yes they may be cheap, promise performance but for what, they will slow down eventually see the differ here is that you may get mediatek, exynos, helio, unisocs for relatively low prices they try to accommodate their low performance processors with good pixels cams, more display refresh rates, glass back, extended ram (via os software) but snapdragon has been proved to be more consistent, more reliable and more powerful.
