I just got a similar Teclast t40HD. I had the same animation issue but if you enable the developer options you can change them from 1x to 0.5x or even just turn it off it feels way more snappy. I got this as a addition for my car to use it for Maps, spotify etc. Since the tablet also has a sim slot i added one for Data, Hooked up a PS5 controller to it so if im ever waiting on someone or sitting in my car doing nothing I can also play games either mobile or using my Steam Link. These little tablets from Teclast are way better than a lot of other options that cost more than them.

I read some reviews and they say it has a blue-ish display, is it really that noticeable? In the videos it's a little noticeable but I don't know if it's the camera's fault, It seems to have a worse display than other Teclasts with the same price.

I feel it's the opposite, I think it has a yellow display instead of a blue one, at least compared to other eink tablets

I'm actually pretty surprised at how responsive and quick the screen appears to be . It's actually quite acceptable as a daily from what I see. For my apparent needs , it'd do quite nicely 😊
