Im really happy this helped some people.... i think i have a permanent fix for this drawn up aswell, to do the paper clip method. Waiting for my warranty to be up to try it.

What if I don't have crawl control ? do I need to do the test mode ? I have a 2020 tacoma and I do have those codes. Thank you this will save me tons of headaches.

If you dont have crawl control you should have down hill assist. I think i posted the instructions for that aswell. Its basically push the button while in test mode.

On your initial time doing this, how long did you have to wait for lights to blink? I followed your vid, and the abs and vsc never blinked.

I just did this today and got it to work. The lights started to flash rapidly in test mode. In test mode it just said Crawl Control not available but I cycled thru anyway, shut off the vehicle, started up, all lights went out, drove for 10 seconds above 25.

@@ssava3025 I swear I followed the video, but my lights never flashed (even in test mode). 🤷‍♂️

They should flash or the ecm is not in test mode. Maybe a bad cable? Bad techstream install?

When i had the codes active, it went to test mode as soon as i clicked on it.
