I remember seeing Rip Technoblade on tumblr and my first thought was "oh they killed him off in DSMP so he can focus on recovering" ... Then I went to his channel and saw the video ..... still kinda undreal to me

I was halfway through his goodbye speech, still believing it to be an elaborate joke before it hit me like a freight train that this could never have been a joke, and that I just didn't want it to be true. That didn't stop me from hoping he would jump out from behind the proverbial curtain at the last moment and laugh at having fooled us all.

Feels like it’s been forever since I heard his name, really miss him. 💔

Squid, I’m so glad you knew him before he passed, he seemed like a good guy and I feel almost sad for not watching him growing up, hey I had you and Stampy and I was happy with that, but hearing about how people felt about him, it both warms and breaks my heart. When Techno died I was scared he’d be forgotten. Like how so many big KZreadrs disappear and are forgotten about a few months later. As sad as it is seeing all these videos of old memories and friendships, it’s great to see his memory live on through so many people. Fly high king🕊️

This reminded me of my Grandad. I remember the last thing I ever said to him: "I love you." I don't know why, but it felt like I wouldn't see him again after that. He had a stroke about a week later. It's almost been a year since then and I still miss him. Thank you Technoblade, and thank you Grandad.

Really enjoyed watching this. I was a big fan of Stampy + Squid growing up, and quickly grew to be a techno fan around that time you found out about him too, right as bedwars released on hypixel. So seeing you two in MC Monday got me so hyped, honestly that’s an understatement lol But anyways, dunno if you’d see this but thanks for still making stuff, even if it’s just a hobby. You’re one of those creators I really respect, I’ll always check in on what you’re up to. And happy 25th Techno!

I still remember watching that first Technoblade Squid collab, it felt like my childhood and slightly-older-child/teenagehood colliding, as my main memory of Squid at the time was through Stampy's videos..

My best friend’s sister also died to Sarcoma, I am so grateful that technoblade was open and bought it to the forefront of people’s minds.

When I saw the video Technoblade's dad posted it just felt so surreal. I thought it was a prank at first, I was hoping it was a prank.

This has to be one of the best tribute videos I've seen. I've watched a lot of your videos, including race to the moon and mission to Mars, a long with a lot of your bed Wars with Ash. I never knew you and Techno played together. Great message at the end! I once heard someone say that you die two times, once when you physically die, and again the last time someone says your name. In that sense, Technoblade will never die.

Videos like this prove it, Technoblade truly never dies.

I remember that exact morning too it was really sad when it happened I cried for around 10 hours and still some times I cry about it when I see videos about him… 😢

I still remember coming downstairs to do my schoolwork and the news was playing and just hearing them announce it. It was crushing- I never was a Technoblade fan, but at the time I watched dsmp etc because my friends were into it. It just felt like it shouldn’t be able to happen- the people we look up to, the people who share their joy and entertain strangers on the internet. They’re too important in so many people’s lives to be “allowed” to die. Happy Birthday Techno, and thank you for using your time with us all to inspire people and to make people happy.
