What you said in this video is exactly what Abraham Laboriel the famous bass player said. “learn the basics” but when it’s time to play just play freely from your heart👍

Yes, has to use full hand against the head to get fullest sound and on real set (not pad) feels are different. Real drum head develops the hands and forearms fingers more….imho. Very helpful video sir, thank you….

Seeing this, I can say I’m so proud of my doubles speed. It’s clean, and from the looks of this, it seems I’m dragging with the speeds of the greats. As for my singles, not so proud. Still work in progress

Sir, what really causes stiff muscles on the arm while playing fast? Because most times when I play, I always notice that my arm is stiff and then my first finger and my Tom also becomes stiff too. This happens most of the time, that it affects my flow. So what must I do to get a flexible arm, that will enable me play freely without getting stiff.

Have been there before but the best drummer in Ghana Francis Osei thought me something which has really help me so now I really flow so fast as much I want,He has me to be shaking my wraist every morning and also shake the whole hand right hand 10minute and the left hand too 10minute each day,it helped me

If you are stiff and painful then you will have to learn to be loose and relaxed. It is extremely difficult to get rid of bad habits including having tension in your arms, shoulders, face, anywhere and everywhere on the body

Chill comrade. We’re all learning 😂. Theory is great (don’t get it twisted), but practical is important too. Who knows, maybe he’s impressive in the practical aspect. And evidently, even the great Shaba Segun doesn’t really know theory. What we all need really are the basics, and going further than that is a want. Again, we’re all learning
