Agreed! Although I did leave Samsung and went to Microsoft after they discontinued the Note series. But I'm back where I belong!

Great review man. Was waiting for your review to confirm this, because another review I've seen said the bass on the older pair Az60 is better. That's enough to make me skip these.

No. The ANC is really good, but not on the level of the XM4s or the QCIIs. Thanks for the support.

@@ronontech your vidoes are amazing very helpful and detaled. your reactions showing us obviously if buds are good or lack of anything.. as per your advise i have ordered between 3ANC status. i owned previously noble audio it was stunning but lack of all features and i need really some of them badly :D so as i see in your comparison vidoe between status 3ANC is better overall than noble audio. lets see. i cant wait to listen them. thanks for advises

The part with the phone not taking over when the two bigger devices are playing might actually be a feature that caters to people who are doing conference calls on their PC. Since the phone makes noise all day with alerts and other involuntary stuff, it would be annoying if it kept stealing the bluetooth while I was on a video call or something. All my Plantronics devices behave that way too. PC can steal bluetooth, phone can't unless I pause the PC.

Nice review! One question... You're not really enthusiastic on the bass. But you didn't use the "super bass plus" EQ profile right? Can you confirm your feeling about the bass production in "super bass +” profile ?? Looking forward hearing from you!

I did have the at the highest setting. You get good bass thump, but the sub-bass still does the same thing. Being a basshead, I can't disregard that.

Ron ! I received my new status between 3 anc yesterday !!! Bro, the sound !!!! I am speechless!!! The bass is crazy, the sound is crystal clear, the sound separation is fantastic and man, they are stupidly loud hahaha i try the anc and without anc. With anc, at max volume there is distortion. Without anc, wow !!! Those earbuds are a beast !!! Ron, each time you give me advice on earbuds, you were right and i am so happy with every purchase that i bought. People, when Ron said that an earbuds sound amazing, TRUST HIM !!! He is fair, give excellent reviews on each earbuds and he is one of the best (if not the best) youtubers on all youtube on headphones ! You can search everywhere on youtube, you have two king who talks about earbuds or headphones. Ron and El jefe. I listened to many, MANY youtubers, and nobody come close to Ron and Jefe. We are lucky to have those people on youtube. They do an incredible job !!! Trust Ron and talk to your friends about Ron and tell them to subscribe to his channel ! Triple connectivity is a bit of overkill dont you think? my real question is how much better do the 80"s sound over the excellent AZ60, which can now be purchased for a little over a hundred, have top tier sound quality, and dual connectivity.

Hi ron which one for you the best overall between az60 or MTW3?or prefer the new one az80 😂 Please help me out , my concern is SQ,Comfort and Anc . My problem is for traveling with the plane my ears always sick cause of pressure .

IMO, the MTW3 has better overall sound than the AZ60. The ANC for the two are pretty much even. I haven't had a chance to compare them to the AZ80s yet. Stay tuned for those vids.

Hi. Panasonic also has an earbud-model named AZ60 & AZ80 that's eerily similar to the Technics ones. However, i'm writing from the EU so i wonder if they may be the same earbuds because doesn't Panasonic own Technics? Or vice versa?? I'm looking to buy a pair of earbuds and the AZ80's sounds like the most likely option but if Panasonic's earbud is identical i can save 100$. If anyone has a clue what's going on here, please reply to my comment. Other than that, excellent review. Straight and to the point. Do you still like them now that you used them for a while?

Panasonic owns Technics brand. So the model numbers make sense. I think Technics are their "luxury" brand. I do like the Technics AZ80s still. Thanks for the support.

Great question! IMO, I would have to go with the QC Ultra. Especially with the Immersive Mode turned on.

@@ronontech I tried both pair. AZ80: clarity, crisp sound, great instrument separation. Bass…that missing bass. If there was a bit more bass, they would be perfect for me. Bose QC Ultra: nice, punchy bass. It sounds fuller. I EQ’d them: +5 bass, +10, +10 mid, +10 treble + immersive audio on. Sounds good, very good, especially live concerts. If Bose gave up paper cones they could achieve better clarity and seperation. I hope they will bring some new speaker to the market.

How is the sound compared to the AirPods Pro 2?

4th set of Technics earbuds and not 1 has decent call quality. Even went to the extreme of labeling their hard work "justmyvoice" which is clearly just that, a label.

Buy the status audio between 3 anc!! I have over 30 earbuds and i can tell you that the between 3 anc, are by far, the best sounding earbuds that i have ever heard!! Sennheiser is one of my favorite, but since i received my 3 anc, i only use those ones.
