Since the Chris Avelone situation got wrapped up (damn poor him) I would love for them to get him back on, to make up for Dying Light 2. Hell, maybe even get him back for a third dlc for DL2.

There is a team working on Dying Light 2 and the other is working on this game. Techland is no longer a small studio.

It seems they got good people working on this new game. It is nice it is something different from DyingLight. This will also be nice for all the people who work on it. Hope they will do communicate better (it does not have to be big announcements all the time, but its nice the get some nice information from time to time, even if it is small info) I hope they will make it another success and love and passion for it. So make use of the help of community. We are here to help Techland, so Techland use your community and do communicate with us. We are not your enemy! :)

Thanks for the translation, I needed it From Survivors 2015 and I was not convinced of this game, maybe times have changed But through you, I will understand what they want to do to attract us to the game again

I don't have any faith in Techland. It might be a fantastic game that you might be able to play and enjoy 5 years after you've purchased it. Techland pushed so much promotion for a game that wasn't finished when it was released. It had a ton of bugs that made it unplayable for many. It didn't have an ending that was complete at the time of release. I really enjoyed Dying Light 1 which had many of the problems that would show up in Dying Light 2 (mainly unfinished work, and bug problems).

I think we all can agree how much they messed up with Dying Light 2. But then again we can give them another chance, if they mess up this one then i don't think i need to tell anyone anything after that. Also they surely have realized their mistake and are fixing DL2 but i honestly don't want the same thing repeating with this NEW IP. Let's hope for good & give them a last chance to prove themselves.

The same thing happened with CDPR and Cyberpunk. Cyberpunk was a disaster and shortly after release, CDPR moved staff to the new Witcher game, while still claiming to support Cyberpunk 2077. We're seeing how that turned out.

I mean Dying Light 2 developed started back in 2017. and matter of fact all devs do this, they start working on a sequel an year or few yrs after releasing the first game. & let's not forget this is a different game and not a sequel, the team working on Dying Light 2 is still there working only on DL2.

Yeah lol that was a half joke, but yeah The only issue for them would be just split the fundings. Its just weird to think DL2 is already not number 1 priority for them even tho this game still feels kinda fresh (especially looking at DL1's support time) And although there are still people caring for DL2, the "Heads" at Techland clearly aren't one of those. Before another game, they must deliver the promised DLC new map gameplay story for DL2... One of them, not to mention that were supposed to be 2(!!!!!)in the following months from the release, that was last year, 2022!!!!!!! We kind of paid for those.... I am gonna be honest, Techland did mess up in the past. But they are working hard to fix that now & talking about this new game its being made by Techland only. But inside Techland we got different groups working on different things, that's how it works in gaming industry nowadays.

It kinda blows my mind the success dl1 and dying light 2 is a almost complete 180 from the first game story wise its feels like a completely different game from dying light 1 and that blows why change what's not broken and completely make almost everything different except make the parkour even better hell dying light plays and looks better than dl2 in my opinion and that's sad especially with all the hype I had when they first announced it

@@BestGamerAli like dystopia final sirvivors of the apocalypse where aliens have like crashed their spaceships into existing structures some new structures have been built of course. They could have fast paced Parkour and flying boots perhaps. And the game premise is that for a while the aliens congregated here and then they got infected with a zombie virus that was able to infect humans but would decay fast and some humans are immune and the virus keeps the alien zombies alive and due to them being of advanced species to a degree they regain their intelligence while still being angry bloodthirsty smart enough to chase you.

I hope that this new game isn't a buggy mess and fix it later type of deal. legit past like what 6 years of games coming out buggy af. and them taking a whole year or more to fix it and give us 1/4 of what they promised. DL2 was a massive wakeup call for me when it comes to techland. Over a year just to get half of what they did with the gore system in DL1 and overall combat feel. I really hope this new IP if it does come out within the next 2 to 3 years. is actually finished and doesn't have GAME BREAKING BUGS. DL2 over a year later still suffers from bugs that legit ruins the game. AI not knowing what to do half the time, Npc's spawning in weird spots or just out right floating in the air, Cutscenes ruined by them wanting to be lazy and making the NPC teleport instead of playing out a whole cutscene and making it make sense as to why the npc/character is doing what they are doing or where they are going. Techland I'll give you this one last chance but if ya screw it up. I'm gonna look at you guys as the next bethesda and not touch your game until its patched months or a year later or until mods come out and fix it for you.

I feel TL is like the parent that just had a child and now wants to have another one right away before tje first one is walking. That's not a good approach to parenting and it's a really sucky approach to game design. Go back to DL1, expand on the Kyle Crane story, add night hunters to make the night even more terrifying, create new DLCs, expand the map....boom.

Yup that's like the most common problem with the open world games nowadays. The maps are too big & the devs don't utilize the whole map properly and a lot of the areas just feel empty

Dying Light 2 does not have a better story , characters or boss. More zombies ?? nope they only added like 3 or 4 new zombies, rest all are just same zombies but remade. better night activities ? which activity are we talking about ? because volatile tyrants were added months after the release, chapters which are basically bounties from dl1 were also added months after release. No guns was a stupid idea because it just limits the way one can kill a zombie, i would have loved more weapons in the game & more ways to kill a zombie. also better outfits ? sure better graphics yes and let's not talk about stealth because there is no activity that involves or utilizes that. DL2 has better parkour yes but too floaty and you fly in the air most of the time doing just normal things. Better map ? yes to some extent. There are many things DL1 does better & that game has more content, a more interesting story, scary night time with better chase, dl1 has more weapon types, the game has better DLC, dl1 has more end game content and there are many points that i and other content creators have mentioned in our reviews. If you watch those videos you will understand why people prefer DL1 over DL2. Also the devs have realized their mistake and are fixing the game this whole year, a lot of things are being fixed which is good for the game & i honestly believe in future DL2 will be the better choice over DL1.

@Best Gamer Ali the zombies are more creative and more abilities, night activities: helpless survivors, dark zones, military vans , volatiles and viral on roofs , and the story of alone pilgrim searching for his tortured family member sounds better than some hired agent form a organisation looking for a file , floaty parkour give players time for that split second to decide what to do, guns would be be bad for the game because it wouldn't make sense because virus has taken over the whole world there are no factory's to make the sleek shotguns and enough material, my point is people shit on this game too much and don't appreciate the good things all players do is whine because their little rifles aren't in the game, and the new stealth is focused on in bandit camps and that one mission where aiden was searching for the crystals in the camp near the start of the game, and people use the paragliding too much that's why quite alot of the time people ate I the air, I agree with a lot of your comment I'm not here to start shit I'm just so angry that dl2 gets too much hate even though it doesn't deserve most of it , nights in dl2 are very scary but just not as scary as dl1, and even though dl2 has less end game content at least it has a playable boss and it was fun a big step from the first, and weapons in dl2 have more detail and actually fit the world. 1 more thing there is a another activity that uses stealth dark zones creating up on zombies and stealth killing the undetected unlike dl1

let us hope non of those big developer names does any sexual harassment otherwise we will end up with another DL2...

I remember when I first got it back them most dope game I ever played seen dying light 2 was coming out I pre-ordered it still have not beat it because techland and there updates my saves won't load the new updates so I have to make new ones gave up tho just gonna let it finish with its updates

It's very obvious this is the game the current staff wanted to make and not DL2, it's gonna be ass AND they ruined an amazing IP. The current incarnation of Techland is awful.

The original plan for DL2 was totally different & many things got scrapped. Also Dying Light IP wont be ruined, it still will get frequent updates & a sequel in the future.
