I know exactly what you are going through! I worry like crazy about my mom. And lost my dad a few months ago. Then after a couple months . I lost my dog. I had for 14years. He had issues a few years ago. Then had a mild stroke. I had to hold him up to do his thing. When nature called. So I basically held him and fed him for about 3 weeks until he could do for his self. He was a good lil fella. 14years is a while for a Dog. It could have been a while longer maybe. And now my aunt isn't doing well. She just got out of ICU. I will say a few prayers for you and your mom. I know your health isn't the best. I really like learning from your videos. I just wish I tried harder and got interested when I was younger... Best wishes and happy holidays.

Thank you James. Doesn't matter when you start, you can learn every day. Had a dog for 12 years, he had diabetes, used to give him insulin injections. Anybody who doesn't think of a dog as a family member shouldn't have one.

Copper tape that is used for stain glass soldering, use it by soldering a wire to a piece of copper ribbon tape then rap the tape around the small magnet, make many of them to be used for quickly attaching as leads to batteries and many other stuff, they work amazing

Battery holders are pretty cheap. I have all kinds of them. Makes things real quick and easy. They of course can be used in project boxes and stuff as well.

I went trough the same with my mum the last years of here life before she died at an age of 90. Just spend as much time together with her as you can, that's my advice. Prioritize her over us, she needs you now. We can wait. I just got that same TEC-06 in the mail a week ago, without any instructions, so perfect timing :-)

I like the versatility of this unit. It has helped me to determine the ampacity of the various wall chargers I own. I do a sweep from 0.1 mA through the maximum it can handle. I found out they all have similar performance curves but each gives out at a different mA value. The best ones provide voltage over 3A and the worst one drops out at 1.1 (Apple 1A iPhone chargers)

My mom had the same break a few years back. Seeing the xrays I thought how are they going to fix that it was shattered. They put in some plates and screws and after a few months she was almost back to normal just some limited movement in her arm. Moms are are really tough. Hope all goes well with yours.

Thanks Paul. I prayed for both of you! You really need to invest in some battery holders. They are pretty cheap. I have some little 3A electronic loads made by YZX Studio that are smaller than that one that I use with the YZX power monitors. I changed the connector on it and replaced the single-turn Pot with a multi-turn.

Damn, dude... I'm sorry to hear that... 😔 My mother almost died last year too... She felt during shower and hit her head... The curious thing is that after that everything was fine, you know? She asked me to put some medicine in her head, later she went to the academy... But on the next day she just didn't sounded right. You know? Long story short... I had to take her to the hospital, she went through surgery... But helpfully she got better. Anyway, I'm not the religious type, but... I'm here hoping to everything will be fine with your mother.

Reference tests with a known power supply should be done before a suspect battery is checked. It is not possible to determine the quality of the performance with an unknown electronic load and an unknown battery.
