I'm a taemint and I dont understand few comments either.Taemin is a kind of boy who could keep smiling for 90 minutes without saying a word if hosts didnt mention him.TOOOOO QUIET and it's not good for TV show.So I feel really thankful for Heechul's joke which means screen time.And I know taemin is a big boy,that's all.

That's basically how the tease in this show works, they joke with divorce, gambling problems, bankruptcy, gender, and that's just with the cast of the show. Heechul always gives his best to give all of the guests screen time, if you watch well he's actually really caring for them. Also, he is known as the psycho of the show, he makes the weird questions, he does the jokes that nobody else would have the courage to do, that's his role, that's his job. The guests know what they are going to be doing there, how the show is going to be. The guests know that is a show where you "can do anything" no matter what. But you need to keep in mind that the cast will also follow this mindset. Fans who only watch their idols episode would never be able to understand.

Shinee is probably the only male idol group I like in all of Pop music, and Taemin is my fav out of out of them. I understand why fans feel bad for Taemin but the hosts of the show, especially Heechul, are not trying to attack him purposely. Taemin is bad at variety and Heechul knows it, he is helping him to get screen time. Count how many times Taemin's Goodbye was played throughout the show and how many time Shinee's song was played. Fans of Taemin knows how much he hates being called girly, thats why they feel bad for him, I get all that, but for entertainer who craves for screen time/attention, Taemin pretty much is the star of this episode.

Exactly. I mean, people also need to realize that some guys are a little more feminine than others, just like some women have more 'masculine' tendencies than others. This doesn't dictate anything about them as a person, it's just who they are. His gentle qualities are something I actually really appreciate about him, I think it's very sweet. Furthermore, I totally agree with you that Heechul is absolutely helping Taemin out. One thing we all know for certain about Taemin is that he's just a naturally quiet and shy person. He definitely shines on stage, that seems to be where he really lets loose and gives it his all. But for programs like these, he definitely needs someone to push the envelope and help him come out a little bit more so that he can get screentime. He's just more of a wallflower when it comes to these kinds of programs, and that's totally fine. That's why it's so great to have someone like Heechul there to really keep the energy up and get everyone going. I thought it was all fantastic.

Honestly, I'm much more familiar with Minho & Key only (since I'm not really into KPop)... but after the brothers' hilarious attack on Taemin, he finally caught my attention and I agree that he's pretty... If only he'll be able to react like Hee regarding the feminine issues, he'll do great in variety shows.

Yeonmin Yui I see this alot so I'm guessing English isn't your first language but you really shouldn't be telling people to calm down. For me at least it makes me angry when ppl say calm down because it kind of says that the person was too emotional or crazy so you are telling them to chill. Next time pick your words better. Also not all shawls thought like you which is why he posted what he did. I thought his words were thoughtful and pretty valid, I'm not sure why you are upset about them tbh.

Sorry but I have seen a lot of english fans get angry at some idol because they throw English words while they are talking in korean and say for them to speak their own language yet say OPPA an UNNIE and DONGSENG.... sweetheart that is part of korean language.

Yeah. I said this on another comment (can't remember the video...) and the comment was something on the lines as "I don't get why they put english words in their songs it's stupid" then they go on and on then at the end they said. " But I will always support my oppa's" And when I said that they were being a hypocrite. And they got mad at me because I outed them. Then went on and on about me only wanting to korean because I liked kpop.... Like sweetheart... I think the korean culture is very intresting. And yes I do love kpop but I would not want to learn a language just to understand a song when there are subtitles... Korean Culture is very intresting thats why I wanna learn korean and about their culture.

personally, i feel heechul is the only one with the right to joke about this as heechul went through the same himself and I'm sure he didn't feel comfortable with this branding right from the start. and though heechul can pull off femininity flawlessly, he still is and acts manly naturally. all in all, taemin is gonna have to use this prettiness as advantage a bit like heechul did.

Late but by the time you wrote this comment, Taemin had publicly embraced his femininity and even went as far as to incorporate it into the choreo for his song Move. Yes, Taemin disliked being teased about being girly when he was a teenager, but he grew out of it and realized there's nothing wrong with his feminine attributes. The gentle ribbing he got from his long time hyungs at KB clearly didn't set him back too much as Move was released the next year

Heenim is just being himself as usual vocal, straightforward and "psycho".. everyone in the K-industry knows that may it be the oldest and newest idol/entertainer/actors in korea.. I do not know heechul personally but from what i see in tv and other shows this is the reason why K-idols and actors want to be friends with him because of his attitude..he's himself and they love it.. and to remind you guys that everytime a new group from SM is introduced, or a new song from sm groups comes out, Super Junior were always the first one to promote and support them.. Heechul even danced to Lucifer choreo while performing No other live ( he didn't dance to no other's choreo that moment) and promoting the song at the same time ... So guys let's calm it down.. if you're an avid Shawol or Elf who thinks he knows their ub well then you also knew that Shinee and Suju are really close on and offcam right? so whats the fuzz it's just a variety show. plus guest were debrief before shooting a show bout this and that stuff , what they're supposed to talk about and producers/writers ask the artists if topic is no go or a go.. :) peace we're family here.. I'm a fan of both Shinee and Super Junior. I've always watched this show because it has freedom to say anything and do anything. The MCs have always teased the guests, as well as the other MCs about sensitive issues but the guests still look to be having fun. If you're not a fan of the show, you won't know this but Heechul has always been teased about his gender. Come on everyone, let's not fight over this, even Taemin seems to be having fun. It's been awhile since they went to variety shows and talk shows. I'm sure every fan missed them so let's just enjoy it.

It seems that a lot of people are forgetting about what happens behind the scenes. Obviously Taemin and the hosts (in this case, especially Heechul) have discussed what are acceptable and okay to be "teased" with during the filming. The hosts don't just tease him out of the blue without his consent. Besides, if Taemin really did not like what happened, he could have asked the producers to remove the scenes out before broadcasting.

I like Heechul, but I don’t think it’s as simple as you’re making it out to be. Taemin is naturally very introverted and seems to get anxious on variety shows. It’s probably more difficult for him to defend himself, compared to Heechul or the hosts of the show. Also, I think you’re over-estimating how much power idols have on these shows. For those reasons, I don’t think we can assume this was agreed to beforehand.

I think people can criticize the show, without blaming Heechul or Taemin. Heechul clearly wasn’t trying to be hurtful. At the same time, you can see why some people would feel he went too far. Both of these things can be true. Also, just because a show is known for being “savage” doesn’t mean it’s beyond criticism. Look at Doni and Coni.

wait a minute.. why is everyone picking on heechul when he wasn't the one who started this whole thing.. watch the whole episode before attacking heechul! heechul just went with the thing that the other guy started (jokingly of course). Heechul said to Taemin that they were in the same situation (being picked on for looking feminine). This episode they appreciated SHINee and it was a good and friendly episode! so don't cause unnecessary drama! International shawols need calm down!

그냥 이 영상 가지고만 하는 말은 아니고, 옛날에 데뷔한 아이돌이라는 특성상 멤버들 다 별별 말들을 들어봤는데 특히 예쁘게 생긴 태민이 유독 그런 취급을 많이 받았음... 근데 그런 경험이 있다보니 프리티보이 (종현작사)나 무브, 원트라는 노래가 나온 것 같다는 생각이 든다... 라디오에서 남녀를 떠나서 태민, 자신을 보여주고 싶었다 했으니까... 그런 사람들 덕분에 좋은 노래가 나왔단 말이 아니라 자신이 연예인으로 직접 겪었기 때문에 사회에 던지는 메시지가 잘 전해졌다는 느낌

Am i the only one who see all of the comment is about not to overact on how Heechul tease Taemin but don't see people overacted comments..😂😂

Before we go about saying about Heechul being mean and all...can we just sit back and watch Heechul saying "Kyunghoon is mine" to Taemin. I mean this is a VARIETY show and Heechul's character is known to tease guests. And only him have the ability to tease SM artists like this which gives us, viewers, a lot of entertainment (I mean who dares to tease SM, guys?). Knowing Brothers is known for making jokes on divorced, gambling, debts, you name it. They have worser situation than Taemin's so chill guys! I'm here for Heechul's and Kyunghoon's bromance and I don't get what's the commotion is about lol.
