Thank you for your comment. Dr Fazlur Khan was an incredibly inspiring person.

He was my department head. I worked under him at Skidmore Owings & Merrill. He was a genius. He is Albert Einstein of Structural Engineering and Isaac Newton of High rise buildings.

He born in Shibchar, Madaripur, Bangladesh. And that's my town. I wish I could be like him.

As a Bangladeshi I feel proud of him for evolutionary mindset and planning. Genuinely Dr.F.R Khan is the pride of Bangladesh. The world is blessed with having Dr. F.R Khan. His research and life biography always will be a lesson for every civil or architect engineers. We feel proud of you sir. Wherever you are now always be happy. May almighty Allah grant you the highest peak of jannat. You'll always be remembered in our civilised world💚

Yes everyone should be amazed, he is a gem but still hidden. I am from India, I worked in Wills tower and one day I went to the lower floor where the cafeteria is and saw pictures of building construction and that's how I came to know about him and his ideas which opened the way for Skyscrapers in the modern world. With all the hate going on in this world, his name is still hidden very evident from the number of views this video has. Is his name famous in Bangladesh? It was written there that he designed wind resistant Buildings with re-enforcements on the side. The old Architecture was to increase the mass of the building but this idea could not grow beyond 100 meters. Chicago is a very windy place and the Building bends during days of high wind and you can hear a squeaky noise, but then you realize the building has been standing since the 70s

What’s amazing is he moved to the US and was a success on the 1950s despite the rampant racism and discrimination of the time he still excelled.

He has been called the "Einstein of structural engineering" and the "Greatest Structural Engineer of the 20th Century"

I was a young and started my concrete forming business in Toronto and I was laughed at by other companies of my background and qualifications. I reminded them of Fazlur khan who was the master in my opinion. He made me proud as a South Asian! It's his work that made the Skyscrapers of the world. I thank him for the way I look at life and how to take risks.
