Tears in The Rain ┃ Blade Runner 2049
The movie has so many beautiful and astonishing shots and moments that it was hard to pic only 2 minutes worth of stuff into this.

To call Blade Runner 2049 a masterclass in cinematic art is the understatement of the century. Like Ridley Scott's original it was high Art and totally not for mainstream consumption. Its a movie that you return to again and again. I have watched and re-watched it a dozen times and still find nuances I missed. Everything about it is elite tier....

That and Interstellar are the two most beautiful movies from that time period.

@@Cascalonginus1 De Villneuve is that rare breed of director, who sees Art as an essential part of cinema. Only he could've helmed 2049. But both films are timeless imho.

Absolutely love these, the first one is the classic timeless original and better to me but still an amazing job on the sequel too.

also i think theirs sth to be said for basicly spawning an entire genre, that is proabbly the most popular sci fi genre right now. and with this film feeling like a totaly unique film on its own seperate from the origonal but still a fathfull sequal.
"I've seen things you people wouldn't believe. Attack ships on fire off the shoulder of Orion. I've watched C Beams glitter in the dark near the Tannhauser Gate. All those...moments...will be lost...in time...like...tears...in the rain. Time to die." - Roy Batty

This scene to me is deeply meaningful and evocative I've repeated it to myself and watched it on the internet many times. And of course in the original movie. I love the movie, I did not know there was an update.
Still watch after 40 years the whole original Blade Runner (first time on a rainy night) for the emotional felling I felt with the stunning visual setting and Vangelis timeless music. Then I can't help myself and continue with 2049 sequel. Forever my favorite top 10 movie.

Bladerunner No1
Best sequel ever. End of line.
Marvel is like the antithesis of this. How far we’ve strayed…so sad. Total de-evolution of the heart and mind.

I loved the original Blade Runner from the first scene in my first viewing. While 2049 took a couple of viewings to appreciate in its own right, and not as just a Bladerunner II. Today they both are both cinematic and storytelling masterpieces to me.
Iv watched this movie 20 times. It's perfect.

wow such a beautiful edit this movie will forever remain as a cinematic masterpiece to me
If I can choose where and how to die it would be either this, laying comfortably in the white snow waiting or laying on stone/or foot of a tree on a cliff watching the sun set or rise. all the while accepting that it is the end and finding comfort in it or from thinking of all the good times in my life.
The emotion with the way that the only real option was an ai girlfriend and even that can be taken away from him.
I imagine an afterlife where 'K' and Joi are reunited forever. All living things are really energy at the core, so why not?
This movie was a beautiful art piece
Ryans best role
Back when I loved the art of Sci-Fi
The rain never stops and never will. I retire from a rigged game that takes everything. And nobody cares.
omg literally me
Woooww, great edit of a wonderfull movie, my favorite!
Beautiful
The Music pairs well with this
Such a thought provoking film when thinking of what the future might hold .Much of the technology has began

RIP. Vangelis and Demis Roussos... "Rain and Tears!" 🌧️😪💦 ✨ 🌟 🌟
Heartbreaking. Just like David in AI, he just wanted to be a real boy. Just wanted to belong. Just wanted Joy & Love.
A good film but the original film is almost impossible to beat, an all time classic sci-fi

I've seen things you would believe . . Peugeot not making a good vehicle for over 100 years
I haven’t seen the 1984 movie. Do I need to watch that one First?
Why the second movie for this song
we love the movie, we watch it over and over to try to make sense of it, because it's somewhat a stupid movie, you try hard to understand it, if not for you tube telling you what is happening you would never get it, in the end, you want more movies like this, cyber punk experience, if I saw the 1st movie, I would hate it as well, I would understand more, it was poorly done in my opinion, but again, it means something, something maybe that came from the series, that pushed us into the movie, it should have evolved from it, made more sense, looked amazing like many games, where the city is full of neon lights. It's to try to look into the future. the more I watch it, the more I want to watch and it like it , no matter how stupid I may feel it is. It doesn't make sense, and I most people would have made the movie more pleasurable. Not the idea of finding and killing those who are from the past.

Babble much?
Blade Runner and Blade Runner 2049 are interesting movies, but to be honest. They don't feel like normal movies. They are very slow, don't have much action but they got a lot of atmosphere and an interesting story to think about. Personally I like Blade Runner 2049 more than the first movie, because in the second movie there is more action , less sleepy scenes and it was more modern.

We didn't get to 2049 yet... nice eyes..
It's Not "" Like Tears In THE Rain "" X Genese; : It IS :::: """ Like Tears.....In-Rain....Time.....To Die."""
Are there women like the one in this film? I wouldn't even mind not having sex anymore.
You have to feel this movie, not watch it.
