I just heard this song this evening!! A very good friend mentioned it. Myself and my family have had unbearable heartache n the last 11 months, the loss of 3 family members n 2 very good friends. This song did stop n make me listen and know that God does see our tears n never forsakes us. Thank you so much for putting those words in a song and allowing me 2 hear them. Awesome song!!!!!

My mom used to sing this to me when I was just a little girl. Then I did not understand the lyrics...as a grown woman today, sitting and preparing for the final phase of my study journey, this song just came up in my thoughts, I searched it and the lyrics spoke to me. Thank you Heritage Singers for that beautiful reminder...it's a beautiful hymn. God understands!

There will never be another group of singers as GREAT as the Heritage Singers were. Their voices blended so perfectly and they lived the life they sang about. Max and Lucy Mace did a wonderful job creating this group and finding the perfect replacements over the years as singers came and went. A ministry truly blessed of God.

Someone mentioned this song to me at church today. What she didn’t know was the Holy Spirit not only led me to the title for a book I am called to write, ('Silent Tears'), but also gave me the words for a poem to sit alongside this. You see, tears were part of my daughter's life, and also in her dying, after being raped and murdered; now tears readily flow from my broken heart. But God's mercies are new every morning, great is His faithfulness. To Him I give thanks and praise

I am now an 81-year-old man. I first heard this beautiful song over 30 years ago - in 1982. My wife introduced it to me. One year later, in 1983, she died following a tragic auto accident. This song brought comfort and understanding. I was reminded of it today when I received an email from a friend who lost her mate a few days ago. I shared this song with her and pray it will bring her comfort and peace, just as it did for me many years ago. I like contemporary versions; they are beautiful. However, my personal preference is the older Jensen version - piano and voice.

i first heard this song, in a retreat with a group ,caqlled women,s aglow at a clifton hill point fortin .and it had such an effect om my life at the time that ,ihad lost control of my self being , out of control .iwas being held by a sister on one side and another sister and still could not be controlled ,i ended up lyingdown onthe ground ,for maybe an hour or so .if my memory is still in tact ,those two sisters were pentecostals from that colledge in maracas st,joseph .and theone who was in chargeof the conferance her name was sister Annete DALTAN .may the LORD bless their home and family the one who took me there. she is a grndaughter of my decease sister .life has some changhes in this ptesent .today I am a fullpledge SDAworsip believer in JESUS soon return ,and with tears still in my today I am happy

I first heard this song in 1981or 82 in an Adventist Missionary's home in Ishaka Adventist Hospital Uganda, East Africa. This song has always spoken to my soul when I'm down. I just sent it to a friend.

I'm strongly convinced by this song that no matter what I'm going through at the moment my Redeemer rewrite my story and I shall emerge victorious and testify to his children of his marvelous doings. This is one of my mothers favorite song. She passed away 13 years ago, still i could clearly remember her powerful voice singing this one.

I am about to enter the two year anniversary of my wife's death. In the past two years, the following scriptures have brought me a lot of comfort... Psalm 34:18 (NIV) The Lord is close to the brokenhearted and saves those who are crushed in spirit. Psalm 147:3 (NIV) He heals the brokenhearted and binds up their wounds. Matthew 5:4 (NIV) “Blessed are those who mourn, for they will be comforted.” Isaiah 41:10 (NIV) So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God. I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
