That red rosewood or cherry was so gorgeous with the color of the brass. Man, I would not have altered it, but to each their own.

This is just my opinion, but l always used an epoxy and pins to attach the scales to the handle. I was under the impression that a mechanical attachment (the pins) complemented the epoxy and gave a more secure, longterm attachment. I realize that this can be difficult with a folder, but the holes were already there. The rocker pin could remain hidden, but a couple of brass pins would have set off the handle material and also would have been a more traditional look for a Buck.

Watching your channel has inspired me to redo a couple knives i have. I also have some that could use your well practiced hand. Do you have any advice on filing designs in the spine etc...? How can i contact you about working on some of my knives?

Great job on the Alaskan! Quick question for you, do you think it's possible to drill a lanyard hole in the rear bolster of the buck 110 without ruining the knife? I understand the 110 was designed to carry in the sheath.... but I like lanyards in my knives. Could/would drilling a hole work?

The Buck 110 was the first knife my dad ever gave me. Since then I have upgraded my tatstes a bit into much more expensive knives. However, after seeing the Alaskan I went out the next day and bought one. Not sure if you answer these questions here but I'd love to know what you charge for new grips. Thanks!

Gotta ask why the client wanted to dump the wonderful cherrywood scales in favor of the green stuff? Why not just get another knife with the scales one wants and leave that nice 110 as it was? Too bad. I hate to see good stuff go to waste, and those scales were really nice.
