That red rosewood or cherry was so gorgeous with the color of the brass. Man, I would not have altered it, but to each their own.
Holy truck ..... that's a nice Buck !!!
You sir, are an artist!!!!
That thing is GORGEOUS!!! 😍
Great job 👍👍👍 I love the palm swells... its a work of art I must say.
I'm not sure I personally would have modified that already beautiful 110, but you really did it justice.
That’s impressive Kyle… well done.
Beautiful beautiful job
Very nice!
That is gorgeous!
Hello From Manitoba Amigo.
Great to see you and your father working in the new shop! it was especially exciting to see that Warrior in the works... Good cheer to you, Kyle.
Kyle, this made my Sunday !!! Just seeing you creating such beauty and with such grace was awesome. Also, so cool to see pops working away with you. Nothing like having dad pitch in and give a hand. Memories that will last last a lifetime, love to see it ! That knife was off the hook 👍
👍 I love Buck 110s and you created a beautiful version. Color me jealous of your Client!
That's the nicest 110 i've seen. I like the pin-less construction and the palm swell.
Really good thinking using the utility blades as you do
Amazing work mate.!

I saw your buck redo with mammoth tooth. I would love to get that Alaskan guide knife with that mammoth tooth scales.
I've been patiently waiting to see what you had in store for us with your next video. I'm not disappointed. That is absolutely awesome Kyle! I gotta say, I'm tempted to order one of your Warrior knives. Survival Lilly can eat her heart out! lol I can't wait for your next video. Take care. :)

Thank you brother! I'm glad you enjoyed it. Email me and lets make that warrior happen! weiderfan.business@gmail.com
This is just my opinion, but l always used an epoxy and pins to attach the scales to the handle. I was under the impression that a mechanical attachment (the pins) complemented the epoxy and gave a more secure, longterm attachment. I realize that this can be difficult with a folder, but the holes were already there. The rocker pin could remain hidden, but a couple of brass pins would have set off the handle material and also would have been a more traditional look for a Buck.
Watching your channel has inspired me to redo a couple knives i have. I also have some that could use your well practiced hand. Do you have any advice on filing designs in the spine etc...? How can i contact you about working on some of my knives?
👍🏻👍🏻
Very pretty, it's a toss up. I really liked the scale replacement with the Mastodon tusk. This might be better??? Take care Kyle
Kyle, big fan of your work. I don’t have access to a belt sander, can I get this done with a dremel and a sanding pad/paper?
Great job on the Alaskan! Quick question for you, do you think it's possible to drill a lanyard hole in the rear bolster of the buck 110 without ruining the knife? I understand the 110 was designed to carry in the sheath.... but I like lanyards in my knives. Could/would drilling a hole work?
👏🏼👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼
Ahhhh and where are the pins now?? I like the the work but I just got mine and would never modify it...
Beautiful knife but it doesn't need the black coating with steel like S30VN
Nicely done! May I ask what supplier do you get the stabilized green Boxelder? Everything I am finding is very dark and not attractive.
The Buck 110 was the first knife my dad ever gave me. Since then I have upgraded my tatstes a bit into much more expensive knives. However, after seeing the Alaskan I went out the next day and bought one. Not sure if you answer these questions here but I'd love to know what you charge for new grips. Thanks!
You do nice work 👍
Do you plan on working with Kydex I have one of your fixed blades and would love a Kydex sheet to go with it ?
I have a different model Buck Alaskan guide with the bos s30v but have a hard time getting a good edge on it. Any tips for sharpening that kind of blade?
Make me a red tradesman
Kyle, what is holding the scales on?

Kyle has done this type of work before. Look for his Buck 110s in the earlier videos. Kyle is a true craftsman!
It kills me that those beautiful scales are being replaced.
Gotta ask why the client wanted to dump the wonderful cherrywood scales in favor of the green stuff? Why not just get another knife with the scales one wants and leave that nice 110 as it was? Too bad. I hate to see good stuff go to waste, and those scales were really nice.
How much would this be
