Introduction
---------------------------------------------------------------
As environmental pollution becomes more and more serious.
Solar energy, a clean energy source, is becoming the next energy solution.
And a microinverter is an essential part of the residential solar system.
To better understand it, we will take apart this IQ7+ microinverter from Enphase today to see its components inside.

Knowledgeable to me, as I am working in this field. keen to watch these type of videos.

3:48 It's not a transistor (a transistor has 3 leads), but a gas discharge tube.

@@jasoneverly2902 Edit: it's unclear. I can hear "transistor" being said, but no matter which word it was, it's incorrect.

0:35 nope, this inverter will never draw 720W. Something like 320W max, considering some losses at full load. Taking this power in mind, you can let it draws 12A (max continuous current) at 27V, while at 60V (max DC input), it won't draw more than 5.3A.

Great video. thanks I have learnt more here than on the enphase datasheet. So the IQ7 has a maximum continuous DC of 720W (60V*12A) but then in your IQ8 video it is 73.5V/8A=588W I don't get it. I thought the IQ8 was more "powerful" than the IQ7. Does it mean for panels with >600Wp it is best to stay with a IQ7? but then the AC power for the IQ7 = 290W and the IQ8 = 320W this is 10% more. If I were to have a 650Wp panels, which IQ would you chose?

Operating temp : 65° celcius = 149° Fahrenheit. Doubt it. Kuwaiti people cover their AC units in summer. This one is facing the sun. Might explode.

Sir, is there any ac output in the microinverter alone? I mean,, panel to inverter? I have a panel with enphase inverter,, the panel produces 44volts but there is no ac out put on the microinverter... Thanks

It's grid-tied only, I bet. Won't do anything independently. Also known as "anti-islanding"

Nice object and well done though some little imprecisione, but you are ChargerLAB, not Inverter Lab, so it's more than comprehensible😃 it would be interesting to see how's built the internals of the, maybe planar, round transformer
