@@scytarius5397 is not about optimization is about cpu and processor core usage there about millions of tiny pixels falling is not surprising the pc is struggling even an 3090 struggles when it comes to large building failing in this game (devs optimized destruction now so it's more enjoyable and with less frame drops)

So much for the "realistic" physics I was hearing about. Still cannot compare to Red Faction Guerilla/ Armageddon and those games are at least ten years old and they look better.

Wow dude calm yourself, there is one popular mod that gives proper building crumbling And red faction didn't use idvividual voxel, if they had the game wouldn't run And if you forget fire physics are indeed physics and they look gorgeous in this game Stop comparing apples to oranges this Is an indie game not a triple a like red faction

That looks fun

I wish the developer would add physics to buildings rather than having to destroy the entire base of the building to knock it down

Some might say this is badly optimized, but really, how could you make re entry realistic destruction without thousands of individuals particles? And they didn't even add different densities and friablities and mathematical weight distribution coding.(yet anyway) if that was a real building, the brick would just turn to powder after it drops a story. It would be more like a layer cake falling over, while this looks like someone dropped one of those reusable grocery bags. Maybe our computers now could never have really realistic physics no matter how much optimization would be done. Any one who knows about coding and games and all that, I would love to hear your thoughts on it.
