    When Oswin said 'wait till the mic is down, and then won't speak up'. Denzil had just lowered and then raised the mic. This is also a callback to a cypher where Denzil did something similar in the past. These guys man... Excellent reaction as always guys 🔥

    I was so excited when the cypher released. Knew it would be a cypher that TBP could never forget (the best they've had in my opinion), knew I'd get something amazing from Oswin who has undoubtedly been my favourite artist for a while, and knew I'd get at least a 40-minute video from you guys. Looking forward to Oswin's Godfrey in February and hopefully a reaction/review from you. Thank you for getting to it and for the work you do; you have put me on to some other artists that I probably never would've found on my own. Hope for nothing but prosperity and growth for both of you. Much love.

    Guys that was hell of a video to finish of the year... I learned much through your channel in the last 1.75 years i've been following you. What i love about this channel are two things. First off the love for all kinda music the real LIV community has. And then that we all, especially you two, are open minded and learn to appreciate music (rap/hiphop, rock, metal, country, r&b) together. I hope we could get other genres involved as well, for example blues, jazz, punk, reggea or even more groovy instrumental music like "santana" (all time great groves). Well i wanted to thank you for your effort you put in on this journey! We all love the content here. Greetings to George and Ryan and all the LIV fam here from Chile! Pls like this so they can see it :) Loved the video and cypher! Song recomendations! (Really different Genres) Santana - Smooth (rock?) SOJA - Losing my mind (reggea) Eva Cassidy - Autumn leaves (jazz) Beth Hart - Jazz Man (jazz) Eluveitie - Helvetios (metal) Billy Talent - Fallen Leaves (punk) B.B King - The thrill is gone (blues) Rittz - ... Man, I've been waiting on this!!! I'm glad y'all picked up on a lot of his hidden gems in his first cypher. I'm only on y'alls first pause, but I've got a breakdown of that verse because yes, he's got entendres for days.

  • @whoragaming7753

    @whoragaming7753

    5 жыл бұрын

    Quadruple entendre = Pennywise the "It" clown said "boo" as one of his more famous lines, thumbs down "boo", Ella Mai/ LMAO "boo'd up", and all the killing references before and after turning everyone into a "ghost", ala "Chopped and screwed up" in the next bar That's just including the references to "Boo", not any of the self contained entendres, or any of the externally linked entendres to other bars prior or after this one. While I like the whole "Releasing the Demons" segment of the cypher best, and beyond doubt all three had some next level bars, schemes, and flows; Oswin packed some density in that first verse so hard that it became it's own quantum singularity. Hence, why I still call it "Blacken In."

    I've got to thank you guys, because you've been fundamental in reigniting my love for the genre...Being raised in poor east African ghetto environment, I was only exposed to hip hop a little late in my mid teens/early 2000s, when I began learning English and got to travel a bit. Yet within 5 years I was already losing interest, mainly because I was now able to understand the lyrics. My favorites were Pac, Eminiem and Dmx long before I realized their status in the industry. It seemed even their coarse lingo had a purpose. I remember my mobile going of in English class during my senior year, and my ringtone was Hit em up...suffice to say Pac expressed himself for a good 15 seconds before I cut him off. But soon I realized that most of these guys don;t base their lyrics on what's pouring out of their heart but what they want to pour into their wallets, so for a good decade I was out of the scene until I discovered your channel about a year ago. It was beyond refreshing to finally have knowledgeable people that are capable and willing to scrutinize these artists whilst remaining objective. And here I am today, getting choked up listening to these gems and it is all thanks to you....I hope you realize the how many grateful souls you're touching! THANK YOU!

    Their first cypher was a challenge to everyone to try beat that cypher, but when nobody responded they done the second cypher.. in the second one they are dissing each other because nobody else would do it (It's very good/funny, give it a watch if you haven't seen it). So I'm assuming this is the final installment of these cyphers as everyone was scared to accepted their original challenge of producing a better cypher. I hope you get what I'm trying to explain lol Great reaction as always!

    i remember shia lebouf and Oswin being on 5FOD . Shia blew up the spot with REAL freestyle... off the dome. then Os came on and did a RENDITION OF different written bars. No matter how nice your pen game - when you get AN EMCEE that can come off the dome.... it's [ imho ] always a better energy / cypher . Check the vid... and see how OS's intellectual yippity-yappity killed the cypher (?) Ive never been a fan of backpacking style rhyme schemes . It like mc's since they have no game - try to woo you with their critical thinking and 4 dimensional connections to metaphors . And that's cool - there's a place for headz that wanna decipher though manuscript . I like my rap content to just kinda come at me like the street.... not like the university literary club .

    I respect you guys so much and this was no exception. Great commentary and there are lines we don’t catch because we don’t have the transcripts in front of us so you help us catch all the lines. I’ve always said I respect your opinions about hip hop and what is good and we have the same views on what is quality compared to trash. Keep it rollin’, homies!!

    A reaction and break down worthy of the content! 5 dudes on top of their game! Team Backpack and the 3 wise men are driving the culture but the lost in vegas breakdowns also pushing the culture too! The raw outpouring is just an emotional overload. Spitting so much truth and knowledge not to mention the flows. All the best for 2019 for all 5 of you. I can't wait to see what the future holds. 🖤🔥

    I heard that chris rivers father big pun was abusive to his mother and when he tried to talk about it he was told not to say anything that he was gonna ruin his dads legacy so when he said his dad raised him to protect everyone while being the direct reason why he couldn’t protect anyone his father i think being the “direct reason” thats why i think he talks about killing his dad to protect his mother but in doing so he would not be protecting her feelings. I think he released a song where i think he speaks about it dont know the name

    Much obliged guys for taking the time and effort to do this ... I agree with everything you guys uttered wholeheartedly. The last 3 verses were just a therapy session man, so much pain and suffering. Still they are edifying through their struggles and tribulations which is remarkable. If y'all ever gonna get back to lowkey Plz check Everything I am off his last album. Speaks volumes on who he is as a person . Happy New year And I wish y'all greatness in what y'all doing. Peace and Love fellas

    I come back to this video and the original more than monthly. I love the pure art of emotion being expressed. I feel like I'm seeing a new dimension, these guys are revealing the tangible, physical exisistence of a soul. It's something I haven't seen anywhere else. I wish I could have seen it live. I bet the auras were glowing and the energy was electric. So much love to em all.

    I keep coming back to this. I love every aspect of your videos. I grew up in the boonies of Maryland and always caught the backlash of knowing the members of Wu-Tang before Alabama. Shit, growing up was tough for a white kid growing up appreciating black culture and understanding the struggle heard throughout the music I love but doesn’t scratch the surface of the interior struggle. Yet, I grew older and realize what’s still going on. I continue to preach for y’all free thinkers and and all humanity ain’t lost

One of the few youtubers i feel really take their time and work on their craft and there is so much wisdom in you guys when it comes to music! Much love from Norway. I would love an ANoyd reaction or more from Locksmith's new album or since you talking bout Passionate MC something from him they are some of my favorites so many up and commers doing work lately but gets too little recognition. Keep doing what you do LIV, will keep on supporting as long as there is a channel! :D

I’m ok at picking up on bars but y’all really do help always, because I’m a big fan of all these artist and I want to understand them better through all the metaphors and such. Now if you could only help me out and react to WRECH 32 daily duppy. The man is too much. I’ll keep suggesting this 🙏🏾 The UK still out here #Freethinkers.
