    Thanks for hosting, Israel! You did a wonderful job, and team Israel was IMPRESSIVE! Watched it all here in the USA, but to think that 50 nations can come together peaceably in Israel, and by all accounts have a great time? There is hope. Now... we all need to get on the IOC and make this an Olympic event.

    Good effort Canada. I'm just glad to see Field Lacrosse growing in Canada not just Box Lacrosse. I'm also really happy to see this sport grow in so many countries like Australia, Israel, Scotland, England, Netherlands etc. Great for the sport! Congrats to Team USA.

    Tom Geoghegan Who cares about 4 years ago. And even though i'm Canadian my dad was American and was an All-American in lacrosse at Penn State in the 50's. I live in Toronto but i went to a prep school in Maryland for my last year. They go nuts for lacrosse in Maryland. It's always been a hotbed. I only played Box Lacrosse. I played on the baseball team when i went to school in Maryland and baseball and lacrosse were at the same time so i decided to play baseball.

    Watch the clock as the ball is brought back into play on final seconds. Clock goes from .9 to 3.5 or so and doesn’t start for at least a second or two. *benefit of doubt, that is possibly only tv clock and not game clock* but from what I’ve heard from espn casters and players is that the scorers table was an absolute mess and extremely controversial with their time keeping

    Regardless of the debacle at the time keepers table (they were trash), the US still had enough game time to score the goal.....also lets not forget that Canada was gifted atleast two phantom calls I can think of that led to Canada goals.

  • @MugenKendama

    @MugenKendama

    6 жыл бұрын

    Really? I watched the whole thing and disagree. What are you referring to? Canada had more penalties. Also leading 8-7 with four minutes left the refs called a phantom offside giving the US the ball. That was pivotal. Leading to Brown tying it. A twelve year-old could make a better call. Looks so bad for the game when that decides it.

  • @thomasmccullough655

    @thomasmccullough655

    6 жыл бұрын

    No doubt the offside call was terrible and a game changer, though it was consistent with how the game was officiated. It's just highlighted because it was at the end of the game. Off the top of my head I can think of the play where I think it was Dixon who clearly fell while shooting the ball and the refs called I believe a push w/ possession on US and it almost immediately led to a Canada man up goal. That is what I'm referring to.
