i would start AD over Embiid just because of fit. AD is a rare center who can defend from 1 to 5 and he's better at catching lob than Embiid which fits with guys like Bron, Curry, Holiday.

100% embiid is too slow for the rest of the lineup. With embiid they all have to slow down to his pace but with AD hes in incredible shape and can run the floor for long stretches whenever the US wants to play fast.

The starters will soften the opposition then the second string will come in for the kill. Despite the age and injuries, the team is very well built.

Those keep yapping why JB should be picked should be stopped. Don't know ball and sht. (1) Why White over JB? White is like Jrue -- a 2-way guard that could play as a role player and utility. Could do it all, which is what they needed now. JB is more of a heavy scorer, iso-type of player. US has lots of this type already on Book, Ant, Embiid, KD, Tatum. Look at the assists, defensive stats, and turnovers of White vs Brown in the Finals. He plays so much better than Brown as a role-player. (2) Why not JB over Hali? Again, like in num 1. Hali is vital because they need playmaker and guard defender who could sacrifice his role for the 2nd five (or even third string). JB is not like that as he is very ball-dominant. (3) Why Tatum over JB? USA could pick BOTH, they're not either-or. One is forward, other is guard. Separate roles. But again, the guards role is super saturated already, and they need someone who could be a utility, not a scorer. So I hope yáll quit yapping. I guess a lot will still hate on White, esp those "stat-lookers" only. I bet they wont even read this comment. Yawn. White is the best choice. Lfg USA.
