I am from Canada, but I enjoying watching all the teams! But team Romania has always been a favorite of mine to watch! So I'm excited to see this young team able to compete a group together! As having your best friends and teammates cheering you on I'm sure will do wonders as this team begins their climb! Go team Romania and good luck in Paris and beyond that!

I agree with everything! Ana Padurariu (CAN), 2018 world beam silver medalist, took a year off from her college team (UCLA) to try to make the Canadian Olympic team in 2024. Heartbreakingly, she sustained an injury recently, and therefore is unable to compete. Ana was born in Canada but her parents are Romanian immigrants! 🇨🇦🇷🇴 Oh, and Happy Canada Day!! 🍁🦫🍩

Very happy for the girls, they all deserve to be on the team. So sad that Mara was not recovered in time. I don't understand the decision of the coaches to let her compete these past weeks, it was obvious from the previous meets that she was not fully recovered, she should've been protected from the pain of competing before being fully recovered only to be left out of the team in the end anyway. I really hope she can find the strength to move past this and to continue after 2024 because her potential is huge..

You aren’t her dr and have no idea what kind of pain she was in. It was an ankle sprain, gymnasts compete through pain all the time. Mara is a fierce competitor and Mara WANTED to compete. She is almost 19, the coaches aren’t forcing her out there, she wanted to give it her all.

​@@Romaniangymfan07 I did not say she was forced to compete, I said coaches should've protected her since she is clearly not recovered 100% - you don't need to be a doctor to see that. Much like you, I am a fan of these girls and I want the best for all of them.

All the people who doubted Preda all year 🥱🥱 she and Ana have been the rock of this program since 2022. The only competitive seniors in 2022 who carried the team. She has been cyberbullied to the point she quit the sport for 2 weeks after 2023 Euros. She’s been through so much and deserves this

As a fine connaiseur of the gymnastics phenomenon and the Romanian dynasty in this sport...I followed for two decades now..... I'm pretty hopeful and excited with Romania 🇷🇴being there again fighting for the final not for the medals, let's be realistic.... though, why Preda when Ceplinschi proved she can throw way more difficulty? Just a personal inquiry.... Also....with such a nationwide heritage in gymnastics having long lists of stars only few other countries can compare with....why in the world Romanians don't count on their amazing dynasty?? What is really happening with them?? Where are the 80's, 90's and 00's olympic champions who could inspire these teenagers??? Why not inclueded in the administration of the system? This is truly a shame...also, don't forget Bellu and Bitang also created indirectly this performance by their 2012 program... Go, girls!❤ For the country that created modern gymnastics and this is for sure... Romania 🇷🇴
