No disrespect to Val but I really feel like Riker and Allison should’ve won. Because they had so much chemistry, partnership, and musicality than Rumer and Val. And plus Riker was more deserving than Rumer.

Riker should have won. His personality fit well with Allyson's innovative choreography, unlike the boring stuff we saw in Rumer and Val.

He absolutely should have won. Rumer is a good dancer, but literally Rumer and Val placed it ultra safe. Every dance they did looked the same. She won because her “Hollywood royalty” parents agreed to make an appearance. Bruce Willis did it with a mug on his face too.

And riker didn't dance the same? Rumors dances were always slow his were always really fast and sometimes out of control

I adored Rumer, but looking back his dancing mixed with Allison's incredible choreography they really should've won. I hope she comes back and I hope he comes back for an All Stars season.

Danii Nunez Rumer plus her parents along with Val had a bigger fan base than Riker and Allison did. I remember being upset when he didn't win

their paso still stands up today as one of the greatest dwts dances of all time. i will die on that hill. we were truly blessed to get to see it twice. BEST. DANCE. EVER!

He had the highest total judges score and the highest average of Season 20, so he was statistically the best dancer. Just putting that out there.

ok this is the first time I've seen this and i think it's so cute that no matter what, no matter how many times she jumps or flips he doesn't drop her.

Riker should've won. This is one of my favorite seasons.

They had such a good partnership and bond and it really made their performances that much better.

I feel like Ross should come for a season

He was asked to do a season but said no. He said he would rather tour with R5 instaed

I’m still so salty that they didn’t win. I saw R5 twice that following summer and he had a bunch of mirror ball trophies that fans had made him lined up on his bass amp. It broke my heart. 😭 He deserved so much better.

@Kate Wilkinson (seeing this now because I never got a KZread notification about your reply) It’s sad, but it’s also kind of sweet. Not just fans giving him little homemade mirror balls. I feel like fact that he brought them onstage shows how much he appreciates the gesture. And I bet he knew those fans would be ecstatic to see that he was bringing them onstage while he performed if they saw pictures on social media.

Their Paso was awesome and did pirates of the Caribbean so much justice but I still think my favorite dance of theirs is their salsa, it’s so clean and well executed

I love how allison respected riker and vice verse, they were the perfect partner for this, please let them come back for an all star season!

Until this day this pairing is the most, if not one of the most, fun DWTS couples for me to watch! Maybe Riker fell a little short of Rumer when it comes to technicality, but he is super entertaining. I loved every single dance from this season.

I truly think that Riker is one of the top male contestants to come from the show

They should've won. I'm still mad to this day

They didn't win because half of the result is viewers' votes. Riker got to runner-up because he could DANCE. Rumer had a little name recognition AND she could dance. At the end of the day, the votes went to Rumer. But frankly, it's Riker's dancing that I remember today.
