Team Associated has exceptional customer service and their products have never disappointed me. Not to mention they've been stepping their game up lately. I don't have this particular model but it's on my list!

I’ve been meaning to pick one of these up so I can compare it to my original AE MGT brushless conversion. Love AE stuff. Nice vid bud.

This truck and the MT10 Some videos online but not a whole lot of mainstream bashers (it’s either Arrma or Traxxas machines) These trucks are over the top 💪 Awesome job on the video, always good things here Francis !! You take care (wheelyin it for days)👍👍

I love it. Team Associated never let you down. Quality, design and components make the effort to buy it a joy. It looks super fast but not brutal and extremely balanced in jumps. Asso at the top! Ciao, Nanni

You did a very thorough quick review. I am anxious to see how it holds up to some more aggressive bashing. I think the pricing helps to demonstrate why off road has become dominate in the r/c car world. When you look at the high end touring cars and the price can be over $700, it's was to see why people would choose a truck like this. They can run it anywhere, on any surface and in any weather.

Good day Francis, I am not in to MT. But I have a Question about A Castle Mamba micro v1 ESC. Can it handle A fully charged HVLP 3S 11.4V Battery such as the GensAce Adventure Series? I also have the same question regarding the Hobbywing 1080 ESC. Any information you could provide would be greatly appreciated.

I love mine now. BUT….My steering rack broke first run around the yard. While repairing, several screws stripped. Major pita. Then I had a front lower arm break next run. All 4s. When it broke it also broke the shock and bent driveshaft. Replaced all of that. Then broke the rear upper arms. Now it has all Kaiju arms. Steering servo cranked way down. Now I bash with it on 6s and just love it. Add about $100 to the price for the Kaiju parts you’ll likely need to replace stock parts with and it’s still a fantastic deal IMO.

It's junk and I regret the purchase. It's embarassing that we have to pack it full of Redcat parts to make it durable. This review was far too kind.

@@monosurge now that mine is sorted I really enjoy it. I’d be more inclined to be upset about it if I hadn’t gotten it for 20% off during a Black Friday preorder sale! I still only have around $500 in it now. It is 100% not just a larger iteration of the MT10, though. No where near the durability of it. I wouldn’t recommend this RC. But for the price and performance once sorted, I’m very happy with mine. But yeah, not recommending it. Too many other options. Traxxas Maxx. The new Arrma 4s just announced. Just to name a few.

"Interesting" that you put this video out now...just as I'm finishing up building a Tekno MT410 (Tekno's 1/8 monster truck). Both appear to have been 'created' by "mixing & matching" parts from their respective 1/10 SCTs, 1/8 buggies, and 1/8 truggies. Biggest 'differences' are that the MT410 is a kit (not RTR), and doesn't come with any electronics, body, or wheels/tires. Maybe, once it's finished, can meet up at Calabazas Park, and pit them against each other (maybe along with my next door neighbor's "ancient" Nitro Revo 2.5...now THAT would be an 'interesting' 3-way "match").

Oh, yeah! I know that thing... Its arms are made from eagle tears and butterfly wings. Got mine sitting in the box (and I'm not willing to fix it cause I'm still mad with Associated. This is the first time they dissapoint me so deeply) with three arms broken after a couple of regular jumps... And a couple of bad landings. Things that my MT10 just took like a boss an my MT8... Not so well.

I own this model and an Arrma. The Arrma had it's share of engineering issues. But in terms of taking a less than graceful landing, the Arrma would survive it. This POS breaks *every* time.
