Obrigado Helder
It's really nice to see someone who is actually learning how to stop on video. It gives a better idea of how akward I might look while learning.
I wish I could find a flat enough space with little traffic like that. Just started teaching myself how to skate and mostly having trouble turning and stopping. Watching you explain it and then her putting it into practice really helped!

tennis courts, parking lots, some skateparks, or even abandoned buildings and warehouses are what i use. If there’s a roller rink, usually the middle is left for u to do whatever and u can skate there

Man I remember that struggle big reason why i stopped skating for a time when I lived back in the states. Now I am lucky to live here in Japan early morn midday and and nights I have so many free open skate spots just here in Osaka. It’s a blessing I am truly grateful for! Hell even skating up at Osaka castle is a blast!

Practicing will help even more.
Stopping tutorial starts at 5:25, for anyone trying to learn on-the-go like I was!
"I have no patience, not with him." hahaha too good.
Ah, she's so cute. You guys are great.
Never skated before and my new skates turned up today! This video was well timed. I'll be practising all 3 ways to stop. Thanks.

Updateeeee pleaseeee?
I think your wife is cute and funny. You're an amazing teacher mah-man, the way you explain the stops are more understandable than other video tutorials I've seen. Can't wait to try them next time I'm out on skates either tonight or tomorrow morning.
Amazing place and nice skating :D I’m really envy of the weather you have there haha
Wholesome video. Loved watching the two of you hang out
As a teacher myself I can always recognise a good teacher when I see one. Ricardo Lino is one of them.
Super wholesome couple ❤️❤️❤️ VERY helpful video! Thank you guys!!!
Best way to make a teaching video! Loved watching you guys together and her learning
You have a lovely Family!!! Thankyou for those helpfull hints!!!
This is exactly what I needed, I just started skating and I'm learning my foundational exercises and skills so it will be awhile before I actually go out and skate but learning how to stop could help me now and how to change direction smoothly without stuttering or getting stuck would be awesome :D
Love the intro! Really awesome that you two enjoy a sport together too 🤘🏼
What town are you skating in? Looks amazing.
Thank you for the vid Ricardo, just what I needed to see.

Amazing Tees Lino! nice to see you guys have so much fun. Goals..
omg she did a great job!! :D I just got my pair of inline skates after maybe 23 years of getting my first one (I just realized after writing this down how scary it sounds because it's been a while and daaamnn time goes fast lol). Anyways, I'm excited. I became so sedentary after quitting the gym 3 years ago and I've been wanting to fall in love with exercise again. I'll make it happen 💜Thank you for all the tips!
Great tutorial on basic stopping!!
this is the absolute best video ive seen in instructions on how to stop! thank you for all the tips and explanation!
Great videos bro! 💪they are really helpful
Thank you guys, this was needed.
you guys are the best, please keep making videos together
Man! The video clarity! Epic
This video is 5x more clear than professionals teaching how to break! Well done!
You guys are great, thanks for the vid
Thank you so much for the T’s! 😅 but seriously I have been struggling with the stopping. I have a brake on my right foot in the back but it’s hard to figure out how to stop by using that brake. If not Im gonna continue doing it the ways you taught. Thank you! 👍🏽
That was such a fun, vibrant, video tutorial! You guys are having so much fun, how are your skills a year on! I'm just learning to stop, do thanks for the great teas ;)
Fantastic training/advice, very fun.
Nice that you can skate together.
Was fun watching this video. Happy couple. Well done Bro!
She's so cute yo! You lucky to hv her.. take care of each other yo!💎💯
You two are awesome people I really enjoyed this video!
T-stops are good to know for when you need to stop on a dime (basically emergencies) but I always avoid them if I can since they will wear out your wheels (particularly your right skate wheels) because of the added friction. If possible, smoothly do a U-turn and that's all you need to stop. I like to add some flair and do a 180 to fakie and then U-turn into powerslide if necessary but that's just me.
LOVE IT! YES!!! You guys are so cute! Love the beach and the sunshine, too. Your skating areas look so wide - and fairly smooth! Oh yeah, and your stopping teaching is pretty good. (I just already knew most of it. ; ) Skaters where I live kinda get the dregs. We have skate parks, rough pavement and all of one trail with some gravel that can clip us.... and that cyclists use to zip by us, and that even horses cross. And clueless pedestrians and the horses have right-of-way. (The trail gets very busy on the week-ends - and is kinda narrow. No real place here for skaters to learn, so I often skate in the street with our local skateboarders. Even then, it may not always be permitted.) I wish we had the type of outdoor space you all have. That would be awesome! But I make do with what I have and have fun with it, anyway. And sometimes we can travel to better locations. = )
💯very entertaining AND informative! You two are adorable, and so is your lovely little one 💖
Loved this video I am just starting out, I could skate really well as a child and I’ve skate but haven’t tried it in YEARS so I’m re-learning as an adult. learning how to stop is defo a key skill to learn before I put my skates on so thanks for the TEA! (I mean tips!) 😊
Hey man I have been watching you before I got my 4 wheels skate and thanks to you I'm a pro at skating but now I want to move to higher level so could you recommend me with the best 3 inline wheels skate thank you ❤❤
Will put these into practice tomorrow, thank you!
That area looks beautiful!
Thank you so much! Helped me out a lot!
Location, the landscape so beautiful. Husband wife team met.
Were you by chance on a visit to lebanon ? I think i saw you skating on one of marina's shores !!!! And I was so Inspired!
Thank you Ricardo for the tutorial!

Loving the vids, was in Cape Town too , now in the UK, still following the Lino Family.
Love u guys... So enjoyable and educative.. Superb.. Well done Genis!

OMG what a great video, thanks for sharing. Great couple.
your videos are helpful, thankyou very much
@RicardoLino Wow, I hope that I can do half of that, when I get a pair from your shop here in Cape Town. I haven't skated for decades. Last time I skated it was at a Roller Skating Club here, doing artistic skating. So, I'll be doing what you taught Janice, when i get by blades. Thanks bro!
Great tutorial thanks !
Such beautiful scenery!
Muito bom! Felicidade sobre rodas... Parabéns ao casal!
This was a great tutorial! I loved it 🥰
Many merci for the T and the good vibes you 2 beautiful souls 💖
Great video...love the vibe betwen u both
Thanks for the T's! Will try them out next time :D
You and your family are so adorable. I love watching yall. Felt like I was hanging out with yall. I love your videos. I've skated in quads back in the 80s and 90s and somewhere in the mid 90s my ex and his brother asked if I've ever tried rollerblades. I said no they look harder to skate on. His brother wore about the same size I did at the time. I moved about 5ft and sat down and took them off and handed em back to him and said nope nope nope. All yours. You can have em. I haven't touched rollerblades since. In the late 90s, I had a bad ankle twisting accident with quads and I haven't touched any skates since. That was at a rink and they had a stupid step down into the rink. 🤦♀️🤷♀️ I mixed up my footing and my ankle went in 90°. Worst pain of my life. On the sofa all summer. I've barely touched my bike too. Well, here we are in 2022 in my almost mid 40s and went to my nephews birthday party and he picked skating. I actually wasn't going to skate. I'm over the accident and it doesn't control my life. I have full function of that ankle, but wasn't going to skate. Rental was included during his party and I felt if I don't, I'm gonna regret not skating. Or at least trying, even if on the carpet only. So I did. Once I got enough courage to get on the rink floor, thought I'd skate a few laps and call it done. It's been 25 or 26 yrs since I (I guess) factured my ankle. The other night, I didn't fall. Definitely wobbly. Tired and sore from not using those muscles like that in decades. Still fun. So I found a good barely used pair or rollerblades. Excited for them to arrive. I'm hoping with the longer wheel base, it'll be more stable than quads. Quads I just can't get past the fear and feeling of falling backwards even with leaning forward. Thank you to the moon and back for your time & videos about skating and most importantly the stopping and turning. Crossing my fingers I pick this up pretty good.
You guys are amazing and entertaining! I love your clips 😀
Like the video so much, many thanks for sharing the skills and love
Hi, this is a great video! Do you know where I can get those red rollerblades in the U.S.? Or have it shipped from the U.K.?
Explained it very well...great job

I have an idea for a business. Make a hall, and above there are metal pipes or similar which are holding ropes which you can tie to you. The ropes are so long that if you fall, it will hold you. So it's impossible to fall and you are free to move. You can now do whatever you want without having fear to hurting yourself. You can patent that and make a business out of that. Im too poor to execute it but if I had money I would definitely do that.
I taught myself everyone of those blading stops over 20 years ago lol. Had no idea I knew what I was doing as a kid lol
Good teaching good training and good couple ❤
I have the same skates as your wife, my first pair as well! I bought some new wheels and the bearing whole is to small, so I will be buying a new frame soon.
more of these teaching my wife tutorials please
Great vid. Tough to work w your wife and be the teacher. Y'all did fantastic. Your marriage looks awesome and strong. She has a great laugh too. Genuine.
Thank you Ricardo Lino 👍🏻 greetings from california
Omg!!! Thank you!!! I have finally learnt how to stop 😲💪❤ xx

Also the video is really useful because I'm a pretty decent skater, I've been doing it since I was a kid (kinda let it go in the recent years) but I never really knew how to stop. I've seen tutorials on KZread on how to stop, but it's experts doing the stops and you don't really get to see mistakes you would do as a beginner, so teaching someone how to do these stops on video is really perfect because I learned a lot from this!! So thank you!
Great job, beautiful location! What kind of skates is she using?

Ricardo, do i look like a dork with my standard brake on my inliners ? I just got so used to the block over the years, it feels like it would be a huge difference to be without it. I only use it rarely as an emergency break kind of thing. I need an experienced inside on this haha.
Nice T-stop!!
Love you guys keeping it real 🤗🤗🤗🤗
Love you guys chemistry.
