That was just the biggest calibre. It managed to pierce a subterranean ammo depot, some 50m deep or so. And that went boom pretty big. There were several other such guns. Mostly lower calibre but longer barrels and longer reach. One fired on paris, one fired at britain from the main land side of the channel.

Another thing that would be interesting for you to watch would be a video about german Tanks and the Plans for the Ratte( Prototype that never got into Produktion)

big guns had more on psychological warfare than practicality. most normal people would be too terrified if they faced such a big gun.

my heart is still more into the "Dicke Bertha"

Little bombs? Those shells are among the biggest bombs used by airplane, bigger than the first regular nuclear bombs, fat man and little boy... ^^

Hitler had a love for weapons that showed superior strength, like this gun and the ridiculous huge tanks he wanted to build. He wasnt a good practical thinker, his preferred blitzkrieg tactics relied on manouverability, and they lacked time and resources to do it all at the same time.

I guess swedish teachers dont make a ton of money if they are willing to do this crap.

these guys doing these videos neve give real #'s they like to say many or a few or alttle over a Dz to mean 14 or something like that. They know the #'s just dont want u to know them It makes them look smarter then they are but in the end just shows their stupefy at making videos
