KBS has released the covers Forestella did on their show Immortal songs. You can see the versatility of the group. From ballads, pop, kpop, rock, opera, old classics. They have reinterpreted and made it their own. And they sing in multiple languages.

Forestella is a classic crossover group. "Crossover" mixes music styles and genres (in the case of Forestella pop/rock with opera). K-Pop first of all the generic term for a wide field of Korean music and the genre "Crossover" as everywhere in the world rather a marginal phenomenon. So not the music that we commonly refer to as K-"POP". Forestella is very versatile. They do their own thing and can't really be assigned. They consciously set new accents, create new sound experiences and constantly challenge themselves. And the result is always a success. The sum of their individually outstanding talents, abilities and ambitions makes them so exceptional. They are among the best that the music industry currently has to offer.

And yes, they covered "Bad Romance" and gave the song a twist, it's different as always. Let yourself be surprised by the new version in FORESTELLA style. Lady Gaga, like 7M viewer meanwhile, will have been too.

Thank you for the reaction, they have a wide range of music styles and all their original songs are really good. I also really like that the songs are in English. The first time I listened to it, I was a bit shocked. But they are awesome. Their harmony is amazing. And in the solo part, they shine out well.

I just think they're so cool. I love watching their live performances, you can hear Woorim (bass dude) so well. You really can't go wrong with any song they've done. They totally transform everything into their own style. I'm currently obsessed with their covers of Bad Romance and Shape of You.

In this video each of them is representing an element like Kang HyungHo as the Fire, Bae DooHoon as the Water, Cho MinGyu as the Air and Ko WooRim as the Earth. Imagine any story on your own with the concept they gave! In my theory the Fire is symbol of human intelligence (in Greek myth Prometeus brought the fire to mankind from devine beings so human civilization could begin) and the Earth symbolizes the Nature - undeveloped yet here. I think the Air convinced the Earth to give the forbidden fruit to the Fire. And the Water keeps watching as an origin of the Life. All 4 were taking care of World Tree which grows by their music and love..it seems to me they (or the Fire) destroyed a planet and rebuilt (or created) new one on their responsibility for somewhat reason.. I think this story-puzzle would be completed with their last part. Still nothing is very clear unlike they sang in Utopia "suddenly seems so clear". Utopia has a message like Utopia for human could be dystopia for nature, so we need to find a way to co-exist because human is also a part of the nature. I think Save "our" lives means Save "human's and nature's" lives.

The Forestella fandom is called SoopByeol (soop = forest, byeol = star). I listen to many kpop groups, but consider Forestella to be a different category (crossover vocal group, not an idol group). Forestella is in the same company as the kpop group A.C.E., and they even have a Christmas song together.
