My dog has been rehomed. She just isn’t interested in toys most of the time. If she gets excited she will chase a ball or play tugging games but it’s so rare. Not sure if that’s her nature or whether she might still be getting used to her new home.

My dog is kind of the opposite....he gets SO excited about toys that if I use them for training games, he totally loses control and starts jumping and biting his leash etc! In that case maybe I should avoid using toys for training?

Hey Jessica, yes, great observation for your dog! Toys may be too exciting for him right now. We suggest growing his Dimmer Switch skills first (the ability to flow up and down in arousal levels, instead of the Light switch which is going from 0-100 real fast). Then you can start re-incorporating toys😊
