Great vid! I’m an elementary teacher and have a bike program at my school for a couple of years. Patience kindness and support are so so huge! Show them the very basics and then model what it looks like and then let them figure it out!give them some space to make mistakes, fall and get back up! Don’t give much attention when they fall, sounds harsh but they will get up and try it again! I’m my experience when they fall and get loads of attention they are usually done for the day! Groups of kids is far easier and more successful ! The natural peer pressure will get them past their initial fear. Good luck! Love what Bike club is doing! Right size of bike makes all the difference! Let’s get more kids in bikes!!

My little grandson had a small balance bike and found out about balance and steering mostly by himself. At the same time he was doing his muscle training running around pedalling a toy tractor. His balance bike had a rear brake, so he started braking and stoping before he advanced to a pedal bike.

Thank you!! We practiced without pedals for about a week and the kids were riding with pedals today in about 5 minutes. And, our kids loved watching your "funny" video. It helped them so, so much.
