Another way to do this is to open Zoom on the phone, join the meeting without connecting audio, to avoid feedback noises. You can then use the zoom camera as the document camera.

Yes, that also works well but requires more bandwidth which may be a factor depending on your internet situation.

I want to use my iPhone and Mac in the same session ( currently I use my iPad and explain what to do, which is clumsy ) When I swipe up on my iPhone 7 screen and the screen mirroring icon…..all I get is a little wiz wheel going round, so I get no further. Perhaps you know a solution ? Thanks.

In Zoom under Video Settings, you can control "Adjust for Low Light" and set it to manual... that's about it.

I have a question. I downloaded Stage Pro for iphone and screen shared to my ZOOM. The footage shown from my phone device to my ZOOM call is an exaggerated wide screen which makes it challenging for my participants on the call to see what I am drawing. That will depend on your mobile device - it's called Mirroring on iOS. On Android, swipe down from the top to reveal the Quick Settings panel. Then select a button labeled Screen cast. Hope that works for you!

I've had students take my online courses using a phone... it's not ideal, but it really depends on the discipline and the Class Management System in use at your institution (some are more mobile-friendly than others). Good luck to you!

you can use a webcam or another camera, but this demo is specifically for a smartphone.

I've been told that Zoom is improving it's functionality with Android... they are constantly updating, so make sure you continue to update and hopefully it will work soon.
