横浜 總持寺
裏千家 坐忘斎お家元ご奉仕の
お献茶式に参列してまいりました。
開山 瑩山紹瑾禅師 七百回大遠忌
大きな伽藍である「大祖堂」にて
總持寺貫首石附周行 猊下 お導きのもと
お家元は炭手前に続き、お濃茶、薄茶と献じられ、お献茶式は厳かに進んでまいりました。
添釜は濃茶席一席と薄茶席二席。
總持寺さまには初めてお参りさせて頂きましたが、昨年一泊した福井・永平寺と共に曹洞宗の大本山だけあって
敷地は広大。
横浜にありながら緑豊かで
禅林の雰囲気をまとう歴史的建造物もあり、見所が多くありました。
暑い日ではありましたが
爽やかな風に恵まれた一日でありました。

On June 12, 2024, a Tea Offering Ceremony was held to commemorate the 700th anniversary of Soujiji 總持寺temple's founding. Soujiji is famous for an internationally opened temple for Soto Zen practice. The ceremony was solemnized at Daisōdō 大祖堂.
Urasenke Zaobosai Oiemoto 裏千家 坐忘斎 お家元offered Koicha (thick tea) and Usucha (thin tea).
After the ceremony, participants enjoyed one Koicha seki and two Usucha seki. The grounds are spacious and has lush with greenery. Hydrangeas are beautiful in June.
Also ther are many historical buildings. It was a pleasant day blessed with a fresh breeze.
