You should assign people to all jobs even if they are not very good at it. They will improve with practice. It keeps people from being idle and also helps get jobs done instead of waiting on one person.

You can assign jobs at a lower priority if the person is not really good at it.

"We have 30 not-meat-bananas" I love this channel so much. It's always something fun and uplifting.

Penge: Why are the bandages on the ground? They should be on a shelf. Nova: Hmmm... I can't store bandages in this stock pile anymore? Okay. Let's make a new pile in the other stock pile on the ground then. . Meanwhile: Penge is nattering away, completely oblivious to the nefarious goings on in the background... 🤣🤣

One of those minor annoyances you learn to sort out from this genre of game, generally by making templates for storage areas. Always fun to watch someone but into these as they learn.

@@rubaiyat300 Hehe, he's played many other games similar to this - his Rimworld series was the best on KZread in many people's eyes here. He brings the characters in the game to life and tells their story. Penge has a fabulous talent at that! He isn't a min/max kind of guy. He's a fun watch-and-laugh-while-he-makes-mistakes kind of guy, which is what games are all about at their core, really. Watching Penge is a lot like the old children's pantomimes, where the kids (us) are shouting, "It's over there!" while the characters on stage are apparently oblivious. 🤣 Much more fun than all the over-rated watch-me-play-perfectly-because-I've-practiced-this-game--to-death-and-now-I'm-going-to bore-you-to-death-to-show-you-how-perfect-I-am kind of channels, which defeat the purpose if you want to buy and play yourself, because someone else has already shown you how to play perfectly. No point in buying and playing yourself at that point, then really, is there? Best gaming channel on KZread right here. 😃🤣

See, Penge, you completely misunderstood Embers thinking. Having experienced a lighting strike herself, she feels the pain of the chopping block and provides it the help she would have liked to receive from her compatriots.

I love how this game can be played in different ways. Your start is just so Penge, tea, hats, going to the aid of the flat head animal and I'm so here for it!

I liked Penge's first episode so much I bought the game last night. PLus, we finally found a game he's good at!

Loving this series! Love the game, ive put a ton of hours into it. Few tips: 1) start a small skinbark farm to get your textile stock going. 2) veggie leather is made at the work bench. 3) Dandelion trees are (IMHO) the best crop as the spore never spoil even if they are just under a roof. 4) lightning rods have a range they protect, so eventually you will need more of them. Keep up the amazing work!

Hi Penge. I meant to mention this on the last video but it slipped my mind. You might want to tweak your schedule a tiny bit as you have them all set to work during the 1900 hour and that's when most of the social events take place. Would probably be a better idea to give them downtime from 1800-2000 so they can finish their current task in hand and make themselves free to attend any gatherings 😃😃

Tea! Two kinds of tea too... if you use the drug plant, that is. But tea... and hats, of course. 🤠👒🤠👒 A few suggestions... 1. Maybe add another row to that building (two even) to make it a bit bigger. 2. I think you can set different storage places to accept only certain things... so your food and medical supplies can be on the shelves, but your fuel and such can be on the ground. 3. You might want to consider putting a fence around your farm plots so the animals don't eat them before you can.

Yep, liking this one as good as the one we won't mention again, and like the more "normal" 3d view it has better.

Would it more sense to build more barns? Maybe a work barn and a living barn, perhaps made of wood.

I'm really thinking about buying this game. Is it as good as rimworld? Its more expensive even now on sale.

make another playthrough thats story mode without commentary and it would be pretty fun to watch what happens.

It doesn't take a lot for a game to win Penge over. Have Tea, Have Hats, and have Space Bar as pause. 🎩👒Fortunately, this does seem to have the makings of a new Geek Cupboard favorite like Going Medieval. You are making very nice progress and I am really enjoying so far and I hope the new lightning rod will protect against further shocks to the team. I think beds should be a priority too. 🛌
