I set out to hike the South Island of New Zealand following the Te Araroa Trail for 815 miles in a northbound direction from Bluff to Ship Cove in January & February 2023. I didn't end up hiking the whole thing, I did however cover 624.4 miles over 40 days. This is the footage from my adventure.

Hi Braden thanks for the comment! I used Far Out (paid) as my primary source & the official TA app (free) as a backup. The TA app has all the official trail notes for each section so we’ll worth having! All the best with your hike 👍🏻
