Kia ora. Glad to see for you all - a bit of dry. We've got groups of TAs coming through our place already (Whanganui). Our next arrivees are today (2) taking a zero day tomorrow, with a group of 7 due tomorrow. So we'll have 9 here tomorrow night. We'll have a bit of a tent town me thinks. Oops ... we're Rob & George following you from the warm, balmy climes of Whanganui. A couple of weeks before you get down this way. For now, despite the weather and whatnot, you're making fair time. Remember it's not a race and your body will be kindly remind you. Sending blessings for you all, as you come further south ... that it will be drier for you, and more sunshine. Things are drying out down here. In fact I'm watering my vegie gardens. Drying winds, and bright sunny days! Great for drying TA tents and getting the loads of washing done. Not too far from the glass jungle for you now. Might be nice for a change, and then glad to get back out to nosey cows and paddocks. You'll have the urban feel for a while but for now - ENJOY. I tell you, I'm enjoying vicariously walking your TA. Thank you. Take care. Noho haumaru.

The Puhoi pub must have been a welcome site. It looked like you all had a good feed.
