Totally awesome episode Adam! I literally just watched this film a week ago and was hoping you'd visit the location! I'm going to have to go back and check out your original filming location video!
Wow. I live that town in Florida with the Ripleys Museum. The whole Aqua Marine theme of that town is awesome
As others have mentioned, the car is from the James Bond movie "The Spy Who Loved Me". The car is a fairly well known, classic movie car - it's a Lotus Esprit, and recently a similar car (not sure if a movie prop or a recreation of it) was on sale for quite a bit of money.
I really enjoy your daily woo! Thanks for letting us ride along with you on your daily adventures!
The Truman Show terrified me. I will always classify it as a horror movie.

IIRC, there used to be a "re-done trailer" on KZread in which Truman Show was reimagined as a horror movie

Its one of the few movies I've seen in a cinema and I didn't like the movie at all. In fact it was packed and everyone there seemed to have hated it.

I love it where you add stills of the film or scene into the vlog to compare, awesome, really good vlog as usual, thanx.
6:47 James bond's submarine lotus! The Spy Who Loved Me.
The underwater car is from a James Bond movie "The spy who loved me".
Wow! Great drone shots today. Super cool!
I was really hoping they had one of the Nautilus boats from Disney. The hard underwater suit reminds me of the movie DeapStar Six.
Great video! Florida looks so beautiful! The closest I've been is Jekyll Island Georgia, years ago. Safe travels, Adam.
My day can now begin. Another fantastic vlog. I love it when you just "hang out" with the displays.
thanks for showing the world what's great about north Florida. I'm from Tallahassee and grew up going to all these places.
The picture of a car in the water is from James Bond.
look forward to these every morning, love em .
Nice to see some of where the Truman show was shoot thanks Adam for another great vlog really enjoyed it here in the UK. Comment over.
Great vlog Adam! I love it when you do the movie sets, the Truman Show was a classic. That view of the water was beautiful.
The Truman Show is one of those movies that leave me feeling like I can conquer the world. Now I need to watch it again. Another wonderful video, Adam, and thank you for sharing this with us!
ShipWreck Mini Golf actually just opened back up last summer! I love Panama City Beach. Was just down there last week. 2004 is when Miracle Strip Amusement park closed down. I have a souvenir cup from the final season. Great place!
Thanks for ALWAYS bein so positive and upbeat.
Have a great day full of adventures Adam! Thanks for the vlog as always!!
Don't forget to stop in Wewahitchca, FL. In the Panhandle, Many movies have been filmed there.
The Truman Show scared me when I first saw it, not because of any horror aspect but because of how creepy it was to think about.
Love the seaside video footage. Very beautiful. Love Ripley's. Ok gonna watch this one again.
Car underwater is from a James Bond movie.
The paintings on that building are very cool!
Been to eastern side of Florida a bunch of times driving to Orlando. This video makes me want to visit the gulf side very much! Great video again.
I've spent many hours fishing on that Pier. And I use to love Miracle Strip so cool you went there
thanks Adam I've almost forgotten how beautiful Florida really is. it's been quite a few years since I've been there.
BTW @6:50 That's a shot of the Lotus Esprit in submarine mode from 1977's The spy who loved me.
Wow. Thanks for showing us Seaside. Truman Show is one of my favorite movies.
Thanks for mentioning "Dead Poet's Society." It's one of my all-time favorite movies. It literally changed my life.

I think of "Dead Poet's" as more of a 90's movie. It came out in the Summer of '89. At that time, I was about the same age as the main characters of the film and I was attending a private prep school that was surprisingly similar to Welton. When I went back to school in the Fall, I returned with a totally new direction and sense of purpose. "Carpe diem. Seize the day, boys! Make your lives extraordinary."

Amen to that, Abandoned. IMO, this was the film that put him on the map as a serious actor. He gave this character extraordinary depth. He was truly like no other. RIP indeed. Robin, we miss you.
The car is James Bond's from The Spy Who Loved Me. It's a modified Lotus called Wet Nellie - en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wet_Nellie It is now owned by Elon Musk the Tesla Motors guy.

ahh very cool thanks for the info
Truman Show was prophecy. That was really neat seeing the set. Thanks for connecting specific scenes, Adam. Took everything to a whole other level.
The Car in the Water picture you showed is from James Bond, the car was bought sight unseen in a storage container and sold to the auto museum down in Fort Lauderdale Fl.
The car in the photo is a prop car from the James Bond movie, The Spy Who Loved Me. It was modeled on a Lotus Esprit, and, in the move was used as a two-person submarine. Bond drove a real Lotus Esprit in a few scenes on land.
The sign looked like it said "Not Boiled Peanuts". That's probably why you weren't able to get any.
Those ocean drone shots were truly Majestic!!!!
DANG IT, I missed you coming through PCB! I work at the Wonderworks (the upside-down building) that's across the street from that Ripley's :) Also Miracle Strip Amusement Park is kind of still around, they just moved it down the road to the Pier Park area of town :)
Seaside is a cool place, I was there two years ago when visiting Santa Rosa Beach, and yes it was hot and humid. Nice drone videos.
I love it when you visit these cool movie and tv locations!
Loved today's vlog! Thanks, Adam.
That car submarine in the picture was the lotus espirit from "the spy who loved me"
! Panama City Beach! Flashbacks to spring breaks in the 70's! I burned every year but always found a sympathetic young lady to help ease the pain! Plus you're right about the beach being better at night...I always loved it best.
The Majestic! She's been ungrounded! Love the epic finds for the Truman Show! I love that you never rest until you find what you're looking for!
Wow, you went through Panama City Beach and I didn't see you???? Crazy! I will always love living there.

yea the car is a Lotus Esprit. Custom built for the the 1977 Roger Moore Bond movie. The spy who loved me For some reason it was nicknamed 'Wet Nellie' =/
You mentioned Jaws...Jaws 2 was filmed in Destin, FL. You were close to the Jaws 2 filming area in yesterdays video. The Northwest Florida beaches are great. I have been going down there my whole life. Safe travels!
The production company that was used for underwater filming of the James Bond movie Thunderball was a Florida based company.
We stayed there last month and kept our boat in that huge building that was in the beginning of the vlog.
Good morning, and in case I don't see ya, good afternoon, good evening, and good night! love this episode! Truman Show one of the best movies. i don't know how you can find and remember each scene of 1 movie, thats a lot of investigative research & replaying the movie to match each filming spot👍❤️
Panama city is home away from home. Also spent a lot of vacations there with my family. My son and his family live in Navarra FL. Just down from Fort Walton. It is a pretty place to visit or live. Love this video...!! Thanks Adam...!!
The Submarine car is from a James Bond Film called "The Spy Who Loved Me".
6:45 the car under water is from the James Bond movie The spy who loved me.
Thanks for sharing Adam...!
We used to go down to Panama City Beach a lot too (drove from Georgia). The Miracle Strip Amusement Park was so awesome then (in the 70's). They had the craziest haunted house walk-through I have ever seen. You remember that other place called Jungle Land, that had the large volcano you could walk through? They had bird shows and stuff. Thanks for bringing back some old memories... once again!
This is my old stomping ground I lived 2 minutes from their and this video has made me home sick big time. Its been 5 years

I love exploring with you. I've lived in Florida for 36 years, and you're uncovering corners I've never seen before. I need to get out more. LOL
Another great vlog Adam I have not watched that movie but you have made me interested in it so I will try to find it thanks again.
Love film locations and off the beat museums !!! Jaws also messed me up from going into the ocean water!!!
absolutely love when you do filming locations
Love The Truman Show totally forgot how awesome that movie was until you brought it back up! I was also surprised to hear you say the term "that's what's up"! I thought that was a Michigan thing
Awesome Vlog! and facts about the filming locations from the Truman show, I love the Film. And looking forward in your next Awesome Vlog around USA, which I hoping to visit one day from Yorkshire UK.
Underwater car is from James Bond movie!!! Thanks as always Adam!
Great Vlog Adam! As always keeping me entertained while I have my morning coffee!!! Continued safe travels to you!!
I have lots of fond memories of the Miracle Strip in Panama City. So happy you found some boiled peanuts. They're the BEST!
I to enjoy visiting places where motion pictures have been filmed. It's just so interesting. Yes, im a geek about this stuff and proud of it! Rock on Mr. Woo!!
The picture of the underwater car is from 007 film "The Spy Who Loved Me".
Score! Boiled peanuts and cheese curds are my two favorite road trip foods
The picture of the submerged car is from the James Bond film, "The Spy Who Loved Me". It was a Lotus that converted into a submarine after Bond drove it off a dock to escape from the bad guys. One of them was later found abandonded in a storage unit.
CONGRATS on 80k!
Thanks Adam again for visiting Seaside! You had inspired me the first time to purchase the DVD. I agree, if your fans did not see it before they should--you did an awesome job filming that location. MEETUP IN ORLANDO?
The car in the water is from James Bond film "The Spy Who Loved Me."
Man I miss Florida! Thanks for the trip to the beach
That picture of the car underwater looked like James Bond's Lotus Esprit from The Spy Who Loved Me.
That's the James Bond Lotus Esprit which converted into a diving bell - don't remember which film.
mosquito coast....one of the movies that is anchored in my mind as a permanent fixture-the book was good as well.
You should take the drone up when the sky is like that. I wanna see what it looks like from up there.
The car submarine is "wet nellie" from the James Bond move, The Spy Who Loved Me.
Adam you are the Truman show because I watch your videos for comfort and to relax after a stressful day at work so I thank you for that. Keep up the great work and God Bless you my friend.
That dive suit from the museum reminds me of the one in Scooby Doo old school
Morning Adam. Good afternoon and if I don't see you later, have a great night. Thanks man and keep them coming.
Those diving helmets were pretty awesome! I would hate to see what an underwater implosion in one is like!
Thanks for all the awesome vlogs man. Have a fun day and safe travels.
That car under water picture you point to is from James Bond. It's a Lotus Esprit. It's from: "The Spy Who Loved Me".
loved the Truman Show, Stand by Me was another favourite. thanks for the video.
At 6:50 the picture of the car in the water is from a James Bond movie.
That circular thing at 6:04 reminded me of the technodrome from tmnt!!
Have a fun & safe day. So Beautiful where you've ventured upon.
The Mid-bay Bridge... I always love visiting Seaside. And you are absolutely right. The Truman Show was ahead f its time.. You seem so happy to be back in Florida too. I believe Florida has really missed The Woo... And Nerds are COOL!
I forgot how much I loved the movie. So cool. Sincerely, thank you
Come to Sarasota/Bradenton!! There's lots of historic stuff here to vlog about! Maybe you can get on the roof of The Gator club on Main St, Sarasota and see the painted line marking the water level from a hurricane in the 1920's or 30's
woo love the beach shot with drone wish you had done this In Newport Beach CA.
There's actually a housing development nearby that's completely isolated from any little towns. It's in the middle of farming fields, called New Town. They have they're own churches, post office, grocery store, Main Street, restaurants. Definitely Truman Show-like. Not my favorite place to go. All the house are about the same layout and very close together.
