2:42 hacker and mecha base are practically confirmed to be hardcore towers as they appeared alongside engineer and accelerator in a teaser, as well as mecha base once being obtainable for gems in hc beta war machine is very likely also going to be a hardcore tower once it releases (raz said it would eventually release back during christmas 2020) and iirc void miner is completely removed from the games code, once meant to be a hidden wave reward

John was removed making war machine the only tower to give a damage buff and mecha base is literally just a stronger more expensive military base these towers are heavily polished more so than something like yeehaw that was clearly made for fun/exclusivity to certain people you cant just think of an orignal tower idea out of thin air and theres no reason for them NOT to use these ideas for example the november update was supposed to bring 2 new towers why make two completely different towers when you could balance and polish your nearly finished towers also mecha base was on sale during hardcore beta ethier of these towers being on sale is anything but a stretch

I think having lvl 100 be the last level for towers is fine, since its a big grind to lvl 200 and it seems like too much gatekeeping, especially when pursuit is meant to be the big dps tower. I think what could be nice is after level 100 they add flashy cosmetics instead, it seems fairer and could still give players a good reward

It would be cool, because if they don’t release it as level reward they will release it on hc which is so much worse. I don’t even care that hc is an unbalanced mess. The fact that you have to use the same strat hundreds of times to get a tower doesn’t make the game fun.

I think there’s a big problem with levels above 100, a lot of people just can’t get that high, pursuit already requires lots of hours to grind for and offering something at higher levels but become quite repetitive. Personally I believe a cosmetic should be awarded so that higher level players are rewarded for playing more and less committed players don’t have to keep up to be on an even playing field

exp will be important soon according to below himself and I assume he was talking about the skill system that was leaked some time ago, skill system will replace health per level system, basically when you earn exp you will get special points that you will be able to exchange for exp also btw, mecha base and hacker are confirmed to be hardcore tower war machine might also be hardcore tower and void miner is completly removed from the game's code

I'm just gonna use my levels for the cash bonus as it's better for earlier defense

One thing they could do is put the tower buffs inside the tower performance panel, so when you add the DJ and Commander it won't ruin the tower's skin.

Turret should get a massive buff/rework. The only benefit is that level 1 gains hidden and level 2 gains lead detection. And the cons of being easily replaced and having a bigger placement makes it really bad. My idea is that the Turret is an older brother of the engineer’s sentries. Essentially: costs 3750, level 3 gains flight detection, level 4 remains the same, and level 5 gains a shield and/or some missiles. But the downside it can’t be buffed by commander or dj. But it can be buffed by engineer or trapper (25%fire rate, 15% range).

war machines last ability uses the void so maybe void miner and warmachine can go together for towers that use the abilities of the void like accel

Bro turret is one of the main towers to beat hardcore (its used in alot of strats)

Well, Hacker and Mecha Base are basically confirmed to be Hardcore towers as they were in the same leak as Accelerator and Engineer back before Hardcore Beta and Mecha Base was in the Hardcore Beta shop for 3,500 gems. War Machine is likely to be a Hardcore tower as its final level is “To The Void and Back”

@@endportex maybe you could create mostly new ideas instead of repurposing old ones, like maybe a prisoner tower where you could take a bit of inspiration from jailbreak. Or maybe create some cosmetic ideas (sketches or smth) for certain levels. I’d gladly watch a part 2 if you made one, please do (if you want) as I wonder how creative you can get :) (Ps: sorry if the original comment sounded rude at all)

the thing that will keep players playing ur game is making more content make a shuffel mode where every enemy is random (still beatable) with random bosses more towers making the gameplay less boring for the grind

Remember the evolve towers instead of making them the golden perks the towers make them the level towers after 100

void miner was quite literally used to trigger hidden wave

The issue with these kinds of suggestions is that logically speaking towers like Mecha Base and Warmachine would become required for future events and difficulties as the balance shifts to fit their metas- that or they're so nerfed and worthless they don't mean anything. This would gatekeep even more content from TDS to newer players than it already does. More reasonably would be the addition of cosmetics or game modifiers for players who have dedicated a lot of time to TDS. They already get more base HP.

Ok, I think crook boss for level 25, and pursuit for level 100 are completely fine. However, mortar and turret should swap level requirements. Since you get turret and unlock hardcore at level 50, turret basically HAS to be worse than the hardcore towers. Making turret a level 75 tower would negate that issue. From here, there are a variety of rewards that could be given every 25 levels: 1. An Event Tower 2. 10,000 coins to help with golden crate grinding 3. 1,000 gems to help with hardcore grinding (all 3 hardcore towers cost 8,800 gems) 4. Deluxe Crates 5. Community Maps 6. Autoskip 7. VIP Map Voting 8. A level tower 9. A straight up golden crate 10. You name it

I seriously think that it need some scaling for level reward, not just every 25 levels like this (whit conecpet reward) lvl 150 : operator lvl 200 : SANDBOX (basic so like stuff you already killed in solo or whit others) lvl 250 : eveolved soldier? lvl 300 : MECHA BASE lvl 325 (cuz exp scaling) : war machine lvl 350 : kingpin lvl 400 :Juggernaut lvl 425 (cuz exp scaling) : Evolved pyro lvl 450 (cuz exp scaling) : SANDBOX PREMIUM (so sandbox but like u can select a mode specific wave, no need to rejoin for new loadout, upcoming enemies but you can't leak them kinda like booster channel in discord, ect)

Level 201+ rewards just demotivates most TDS players. Most of them are casual players.

At every 25 - 50 levels above 100 they should make it so that you can choose which skin crate you would like. Example : at level 125 you can choose a skin in a crate but you only get to choose 1 like red paintballer or the random XR500 Turret in the premium crate and for level 150 is a deluxe crate like neko dj or rave dj, if you already have the skins they should just refund it like premium skins are 5k coins whilst deluxe crates are 10-12k for u to grind gcrates. If you already have all golden skins, then you should just touch grass and speak to human tbh 🤷🤷

I Think that war machine should be for level 150 - 200 level 200 perks: cheaper gold crates {50k - 30k} war machine tower mecha base tower longer call to arms ability hacker tower +100 starting cash better crate luck + more

Idea: Every 10 or 25 levels you gain, you get at least one premium or deluxe skin crate OR give rewards like 1k gems, 10k coins, etc. Every 100 levels, you get a special perk that you can put on one tower only (lead detection, flying detection, hidden detection, faster attacks, fire damage, stun effect, etc). After level 100, unlock a brand new Endless mode to gain more rewards or unlock an advanced 50 wave Fallen mode that has the lead and flying detection. (Maybe they could FINALLY use Awakened Fallen King for this) Every 50 levels after level 100, give a brand new tower for people to try or special skins.

Tbh war machine deserves to be a lvl 200 or 250 tower

I would say for getting to level 1000 you should get 60,000 coins 2 deluxe crates and 1 gold crate but if you already have all the gold skins 3 premium crates.

At that point just grind for accel in hardcore (easier option than being free at level 300+ and you only need 9 wins to get it). Also, accel isn't a must have for events since there's so many towers that can be used.
