Just picked it up on an upgrade on Metro. $220 for the phone with a case. I had the Moto G Stylus 2021, and this TCL is much, much better! For the price this phone is amazing! Don't hesitate, scoop it up asap.

Thanks this was helpful. Am trying to decide between the TCL Stylus 5g and the Nord n20 5g. I am leaning toward the TCL to try a stylus phone. Both are free if I switch to t-mobile. Didn't think I'd watch a 2 hour review! It was great to see we no longer have to spend a lot to get a decent phone.

My videos can be pretty lengthy but it’s to show as much as I can to help people gain a better idea of whether or not they’d wanna commit to that particular device. Personally, I’d choose the Stylus over the Nord because the stylus gives you that added functionality and is super helpful in situations where it’s needed.

Done with my 1st week and think it's a good phone for the price. Pros are the display quality, the fingerprint sensor (works every time) and general use feels the same as my Pixel 4a. Calls sound good and I get 5g in my neighborhood. The one thing I miss is no always on display. The stylus I use occasionally for a quick note. I like that while it's a really big phone it's not really that wide, easy to hold. It just fits in my purse pockets with a case on. Listening to music over BT is fine, the speakers are good watching YT on that big screen. I've only taken a couple of photos but I like having a wide angle camera again. I rarely shoot video so won't miss 4k. Overall it feels like phone that would have been $500 five years ago for just $250. Glad I got it.

Im using tcl 20 e. It sucks and ruined my life. Fingerprint sensor sometimes refuse to recognize. Something recognizing but fail to wake up the screen. Camera is freezing in auto mode. Security update still in may. And ui is still 3.0 . Phone is released on 2021. Still no any android updates still running android 11. And u got one subscriber. 👀

That I'm not sure. I may pick one up but to me it's critically over priced which is why I didn't get one at launch. I would like to compare the two.

Help needed PLEASE!! I just bought this phone for my 11 year old daughter but now I cant give it to her. I'm disappointed that I am not able to connect it to the Google Family Link. Her previous phone I monitored everything with Family Link and I dont know of any other that works with this phone.

Also how old is she? I read that once they reach the age of 13, there no longer eligible to be managed by family link.

She is 11..I was able to get it connected but it took about 45 minutes with a Google tech support on a online chat.

It doesn't have wireless charging but it has fast charging. Still takes a bit because it's a big 5,000 milliamp battery. It'll last a couple days once it's fully charged depending on how you use your device.

You can't game on it the cameras trash the media 700 series is trash. If you really need a stylus go with the Motorola

I understand your views. Everyone has different experiences with devices. My usage of the phone has been the complete opposite and I’m very impressed with it. I don’t game on my phone so I could care less about that aspect of it. Everything else it does really well and the camera in my opinion is magnificent. You couldn’t ask for more with only spending 250 and I got it free from Tmobile on a promo deal so even better. Wait til I drop the full review and check out the photos I’ve captured with this camera. It’ll blow you away by how well it captured these images..
